Chapter 25
The plan

Mabilis na natapos ang unang set. Dibale hinati kami sa dalawa, ang isang team na kalaban namin na team rin ng babaeng target namin na si Ellain Siorzac ay nasa kabilang part ng court na katapat namin kung saan kami naka-indian sit ngayon.

Black team has the score of 20 while the white team is 25 in our first set. We are the black team so that means, lamang sila ng limang puntos sa unang set.

Hindi ko rin maiwasang mailang dahil minsan ay nahahagip ng mata ko si zeke at bigla na lang papasok sa isip ko 'yung nangyari kanina. Geez!

Nasa kalahati na ng second set ng biglang pumito ang sir namin slash our referee for our game knowing to find out that one of our team member inside the court requested for a substitution dahil naninikip daw ang dibdib niya.

I saw how our teacher roam his eyes on our side and he stopped when he saw me. My jaw dropped, kaya naman lumakas na ang kabog ng aking dibdib dahil nagkatotoo na nga ang aking kutob, when he pointed me and signed me to substitute her.

"Sir!" aangal pa sana ako ng bigla akong hilahin patayo ni Aliyah pati na ang babaeng nasa tabi ko na Jane ang pangalan.

Labag sa loob kong napatayo ako biglang nahagip ng mata ko si Zeke na lumapad ang ngisi na parang sinasabi niyan 'I told you, you'll play'. Nagderetso ako sa center dahil yun ang place ng pinalitan ko kanina. It is either I'll set the ball so the one in my back will smash or I'll be the one to do it.

Nasa kabilang team ang bola at lamang sila ng anim na puntos. Buti na lang at kahit paano ay naturuan ako ni tita Amanda sa volleyball. Our teacher whistled as the signal to the player on the other side to serve the ball.

We need to be alert. Pagkapalo niya ay ako ang kumuha at sinet ng nasa harapan kaya ang resulta ay nagspike and wing spiker dahilan upang maglikha ito ng malakas na tunog. Napakasolid nun pero naibalik nila samin ang bola at ganoon din ang nagawa namin.

Ako ang nasa gitna, at ng sinet na ng setter ang bola ay walang paga-alinlangan koi tong pinalo deretso sa center part ng court ng kabilang team. Akmang ire receive na ito ngunit mukhang namali ang posisyon nito dahil sa hindi maayos na pagkakareceive nito.

Hanggang sa nagtie ang score sa 24. "We can do it guys! Para sa grade!"

All in all, natapos ang second set na kami ang nanalo. Hindi na rin namin nagawa pang makapaglaro sa third set dahil gagamitin na daw ang gym. Natuwa naman ako dahil ibig sabihin ay hindi na ako maglalaro. Talagang pawis na pawis na ako dahil pinaglaro ako ng aming coach mula sa dulo.

Hinihingal na nakatingala ako habang umiinom ng tubig ng biglang may nagsalita galing sa likod ko.

"Nice game," muntikan pa akong nasamid, buti at di ko nabasa ang sarili ko. Mabilis ko siyang nilingon at saglit na napaawang ang labi ko ng marealize ko kung sino siya. It's Elle Siorzac.

"Thanks" I muttered. I don't even know what to say.

He was still about to say something when someone behid him spoke. It's zeke!

"Mira," there's something with his voice. Just by him, calling my name means we need to talk.

I excused myself from Elle with a smile before I followed him who was now walking towards there locker room. He motioned me to lock the door and I followed.

"We need to finish this mission, immediately. We are running out of time," halatado ang pag-alala niya.

"Something happened?"

"Yeah, big trouble. There's something wrong with the portal, unti unti na itong lumiliit. Pagnagkataon ay mai-stuck tayo dito gaya ng nangyari noon," parang bombang sumabog yun sa isip ko.

Sa history ng Mavherus, minsan ng sumara ang portal at libo libong Mavherinians ang nai-stuck sa labas na nagdulot ng isang malaking problema sa loob. Halos 500 years rin sila dito noon at kapag nagpatuloy yun o kapag mag tumagal pa ang taon na malayo sila sa Mavherus. Maaring mawala ang mga kapangyarihan nila na maaaring maging dahilan ng pagkamatay nila.

"So, we need to work fast," mahinang sabi ko na alam ko namang narinig pa rin niya.

"Yes, tonight. We'll do it, we will force them to go back in Mavherus" determinadong sabi niya.

Kararating pa lang namin sa bahay ni Tita Amanda ng seryosong mukha niya ang bumungad sa amin. She motioned us to sit and we followed.

"You guys heard about the portal?" deretsong tanong niya. Sabay kaming napatango bilang sagot.

"Well, we, mavherinians who were working here in the world of humans doesn't have any problem with it, but for the both of you, it would be a big trouble,"

"We know, and as much as possible, we want to finish our mission tonight" mabilis akong napalingin kay zeke sa sinabi niya. Seriously?

"We don't have much time, shamira. The longer we stay here, the lower the chance we can go back in our home," seryosing baling niya na parang nabasa niya ang nasa isip ko.

"Paano kapag di natin sila napapayag na bumalik sa Mavherus?" biglaang tanong ko.

"We don't need their approval because whether they like it or not, by hook or by crook, even in our hardest way, we'll make them go back in Mavherus. They can't stay here for long," sagot nito.

"And just by what happening in the portal only means that Black wizards were starting to gather all their forces for something," sabat ni Tita Amanda.

"For something...what?" I asked curiously.

"I don't know, maybe it is for the power or maybe they want to show that they are capable to produce a king who will rule the Mavherus for this generation," sagot niya.

"Or maybe for a new war?" seryoso ring dagdag ni Zeke.

I gulp, the tension between us is starting to rise. Silence filled the four corner of the living room where we are right now. I can't believe that we are really talking about these stuffs. It is seriously about the black wizard.

Noon, wala akong pakialam sa ganiyan, or in other words, walang pakial ang mga bayan sa mga ganiyan. Ang kailangan lang namin noon, ay makakain at mabuhay pati na ang makaraos sa buhay.

"Akala ko ba ay wala ng boundary sa teritoryo ng black and white wizards? I thought, the both clan already made an agreement," I remember that one, yan ang turo noon sa bayan na pinapasukan namin.

Kahit papaano naman ay binigyan nila kami ng mga general na knowledge na talagang nakatulong sa amin para maintindihan kung paano tumatakbo ang mundo ng Mavherus. Mayroon ring kaunting bagay na naituturo sila na tungkol sa mga mortal na tao, but those information weren't enough for us to get curious and gather information about them.

"Siguro, but it is only in the paper. Either the both clan can break thay agreement anytime they want, though it has a rule and punishment," sagot ni tita amanda.

"If it is possible, within this week. Dapat nakabalik na kayo sa Mavherus," seryosong dagdag ni tita amanda.

"Yeah, we must," zeke seconded then I saw how his facial expression became firm.

I don't know what Zeke is thinking but right now, I felt a beast hiding in his body. It feels like he is trying to contain his emotions.

"So, what's the plan? Do you guys still need my help?" tita amanda asked.

"Yeah, just a little help that won't harm you nor your people," zeke said with a smirk.

"So, you do already have a plan?" I asked in this belief.

"Yeah, but I still need to clear it and I need your help. Come on, time to reveal the real us," he said then grab my wrist heading towards our room to plan.
