Double Dating and Fab Five Parties - Part 2

━━━━━━━━━

"So, Jack? I hear you and Kim broke up." Lorie started. Jack held back a groan at the girl next to him. All he wanted was a simple night. One without mention of the love of his life. He nodded.

"Yeah, we did." Jack hissed back at the girl. He couldn't believe he used to like her. She smiled happily and twirled her hair around her finer as she leaned in slightly. She was practically throwing herself at him.

"So, you're single then?" She whispered breathily into his ear. He felt himself shudder at how forward she was being. He scooted over slightly in the booth that the two were sitting at. The four had decided to get pizza at Phil's bowling alley across the way from the dojo. Grey and Milton watched the scene before them, holding back laughs at the sight.

"No, I'm actually not. I'm only waiting for Kim to get back." Jack mumbled angrily. He had no feelings for this girl, whatsoever. He had no intentions of her getting the wrong idea. In fact, he was about ready to sick Jerry on this girl.

"Then why did you come out with us? Milton said this was a double date." Lorie continued on, a more serious tone to her voice. Jack rolled his eyes. He was about ready to- "Jack, I like you. A lot. So if this means nothing to you then why did you agree-"

"I only came on this stupid thing because Milton likes Grey so much! Okay?" Jack snapped as he flew out of the booth. He huffed out the breathe he had been holding since he second he saw Lorie. Her stupid perfume could be detected from a mile away. Lorie let her mouth drop in disgust before she shuffled out of the booth herself. Jack glared down at the girl before she stomped away. What a kid.

"Jack, I'm sorry." Milton mumbled, Grey grabbing onto his hand for reassurance as he spoke. She sent him a loving smile, much like the one that Kim would be giving to Jack right about now.

"It's not your fault, man. I should have said no in the first place. But you can be pretty persuasive when you feel like it." Jack teased as he let his hands rest on the edge of the table. Milton laughed and patted Jack on the shoulder, loving that he had friends who would do this for him.

"You can head over to the dojo, Jack. I think Milton and I need to catch up. But I am hanging out with both of you later." Grey addressed sternly as she motioned between her two spies. Jack held up his hands in defense while Milton was simply placed into a trance at his new girl's words. He nodded numbly.

"Okay." He breathed with a smile. Grey rolled her eyes before looking to Jack. He laughed at the boy next to her. It was a miracle that he was even able to talk to her.

"I'll see you guys later." Jack agreed before walking out of the bowling alley. He walked out into the expands of the patio area to see Lorie was crying on the bench nearest to the beach entrance. He closed his eyes, willing himself not to walk over. But he knew he had to. He shook his head as he made his way over to the girl, sitting down as he reached he bench. She flinched slightly before she realize it was him.

"What do you want?" She whimpered as she swiftly wiped the tears from her face.

"What I want, is for you not to throw yourself at me, and then expect that I'll fall into your hands like putty. I did like you before, Lorie. But I..." Jack left off, knowing just what he wanted to say. But if the words left his mouth, he knew it would be out there for the world, and he had already lost it.
