This is How It Ends?

"Jack where are you going?" Milton asked in defeat as he walked into his best friend's room later that night. Jack shrugged, keeping his eyes glued on his half empty bag that sat in front of him. He needed to finish this. If he was going to get to Kim quickly, he would have to leave tonight. It was only a matter of days before Shane and his gang of goons would all be down in Evanston, ready to shred Kim and Ricky to bits. He couldn't let that happen.
"Where do you think I'm going?" Jack countered as he finally spun around to face his friend. "My parents are gone for the next week, left me about enough money to get a plane ticket out to Kim, not intentionally though. So I'm going to her. I don't care what she says, she can't handle this by herself." Jack relayed before throwing one last t-shirt into his bag. Milton shook his head as he reached forward and gripped Jack's arm, stopping him from zipping up the bag.
"You can't do that." Milton stated simply. Jack groaned and threw his head back. He hated when Milton got all goody two shoes on him. He needed to save Kim. "You can't do that, without me. I'm coming with you." He finished suddenly before dropping Jack's arm. Jack breathed out a sigh of relief as Milton pulled out his phone to show him something.
"But we can't leave tonight. All the flights out of here are going elsewhere. But tomorrow at twelve, that's when we can head out." Milton explained before putting his phone back into his pocket. Jack nodded, feeling a huge weight being lifted off his shoulders.
"Thanks, Milton." Jack said with a smile. He was happy to know that not only would he be there to help Kim, Milton would also be there. The three of them could kick some serious butt when they needed to. "You should head back home and pack a bag. Just tell your parents that you're spending the night here for a couple days." Milton nodded before Jack fell back onto his bed. He lifted his head as Milton's phone began to ring. Milton frowned.
"It's Grey." Jack felt his own face scrunch up at that. It seemed as though the two had just seen each other.
"Answer it dude. It's your girlfriend." He teased. Milton shrugged.
"Okay." He breathed before clicking accept. "Hey Grey. I'm gonna put you on speaker with me and Jack." Milton held out his phone in the palm of his hand before Grey began to speak.
"Okay, you both need to get ready to go. We're leaving in half an hour." Grey recited quickly, almost sounding as though she was being rushed. Jack sat up.
"Why, and where, exactly?" He asked as Milton took a seat next to him on his bed.
"I told Thunderberg who Shane had teamed up with. He knows how dangerous these guys are. Your friends, won't make it past Sunday given their history. We're leaving with him tonight in the helicopter." Grey explained. "We're going to keep a look out on your friends and then we, being you, Milton, and me, are going to sneak into the dance as look outs. So bring something nice. That's when we think it's going to go down." Milton sighed as he stood up.
"Okay, we'll meet you at Thunderberg's in twenty five." He relayed before hanging up. Jack shook his head and walked over to his closet, pulling out the outfit he was planning on wearing to prom with Kim.
"Guess there's no better time to be wearing this." He said as he pushed it into his bag.
