-The Day Before Ender's Coronation-

As the dark hooded figure opened the doors, he saw two tall beings clad in cinnabar colored armor holding large firearms with both of their arms. He then saw his comrades in the following room, sitting around a large table. One of them had long and lavishing pink hair, who wore a expensive-looking black and grey dress, and she smiled as he opened the door. The person sat next to the pink-haired woman was a handsome young man who wore a completely white jacket, which was accompanied by a series of colorful gemstones affixed to his golden shoulder plates. On the other side of the table, sitting opposite to the two people was another woman, who wore a full set of purple armor, that covered her whole body. Like the pink-haired woman, she had long, beautiful purple and white hair.

The young man in the white jacket smiled at the visitor and spoke.

"So glad you could join us, Graven. We were just about to start without you."

"Well, Arc, I was in the middle of important business when I was called here."

The pink-haired woman frowned and stood her arm on top of the table, leaning her cheek up to her hand.

"Don't tell me you're doing more of your 'research', aren't you? It's so much more boring when you're in your lab!"

Graven slightly squinted his eyes towards the pink-haired woman.

"My research is important to not only me, but to our current army, too. Plus, I'd rather have you not annoy me every chance you get."

"But I like annoying you."

"I don't."

The pink-haired woman smiled at Graven, while he responded with a slight frown. He closed the door behind him and walked over to a seat beside the table and sat down, joining his comrades. He looked over to the armored woman next to him, and noticed she was being unusually quiet as she looked down at her boots that were part of her armor. He then noticed something else, too.

"What seems to be the matter, Raeus? Is it who I think it is?"

Raeus suddenly looked at Graven, as if waking up from a nightmare.

"...Yes. Every time he goes out on a mission, he usually comes back in a day or two. But this time, he's been gone for more than four days. I'm worried that something has happened to him."

Graven noticed she looked very distraught and very nervous.

"I don't think there is anything to worry about, Raeus. After all, the Lord himself is with him."

Raeus slightly smiled, and felt somewhat happy.

"...You're right."

A moment of short silence passed by before the pink-haired woman suddenly burst out with an exclamation.

"Speaking of which, where did those two go?"

Graven opened his mouth to answer her question, but the young man beside the pink-haired woman spoke up first before he was able to say a word.

"I heard they went to test out a new weapon they made in the mountains."

All four of them seemed very surprised as well as curious as to what he meant by a "new weapon". Graven spoke up.

"A new weapon that the Lord didn't bother to tell us about?"

"Yes. If it's a weapon that even his Lord wouldn't tell us, his loyal generals about, then I would imagine this weapon is something to be afraid of, definitely."

Both of the women seemed astonished by the news, but Graven was suspicious about the whole thing. The armored woman whose armor looked as if she was impervious to mental attacks, seemed worried about something that was on her mind.

"It's so secret that even he wouldn't tell me?"

The young man in the white jacket nodded with a serious expression to answer her question. A moment of silence passed once again, and he brought his fist up to his mouth as the sound of him clearing his throat resonated in the room.

"Now, I don't mean to sound rude here, but we're here to talk about our next plans. Shall I proceed?"

Everyone looked towards Arc and nodded to answer his question. Arc cleared his throat once again but more quietly this time, and began to speak.

"As you may know, we are only one resistance away from reaching the capital of the Enderverse. The second last resistance is weaker than the previous ones, but not by much, although we shouldn't have much problems with them."

Raeus suddenly stopped Arc's speech with her words.

"What's our plan of attack, then?"

Arc looked at Raeus with a sense of joy.

"On terms of attacking, our forces will attack head on. Raeus and I will lead the center forces, while Graven will attack from the right, summoning a line of his troops behind the enemy resistance, to stop them from retreating. Yuna and her squadron will attack from the left, taking care of the infantry."

Everyone was satisfied with Arc's plan by nodding in approval, except for one. The pink-haired woman, named Yuna, spoke up.

"Are you sure this resistance is that weak? I mean, it IS the second last one... Shouldn't it be stronger the closer it is to the capital?"

Arc was surprised at her seemingly logical statement for a moment. He felt as if he had underestimated her.

"That is true... But our intel does say the resistance is weak. Our intel is never wrong."

Yuna expressed a face of slight confusion and doubt.

"Okay, I guess..."

Arc looked down towards the table and brought his hand up to his chin for a short moment, then acted as if he realized something important.

"Ah, that's right! Tomorrow is that special day in the Enderverse, isn't it?"

The other three looked at Arc, confused by what he meant, then Raeus realized what he had meant.

"That special day... you don't mean...!"

Arc gave a joyous smile.

"Indeed. The coronation of the prince. There is going to be a new Void Lord."

The three were utterly shocked, even more shocked than last time, and even the emotionless, serious Graven was surprised.

"Very interesting. I wonder how the battles from now on will play out."

The four took a moment to calm themselves, after realizing the new enemy they will now have to face.

"Anyway, we will discuss our further plans in the enemy's territory, where our newest camps are. We shall meet at the portal gate with our armies prepared in an hour's time. This will be quite the sight."
