As the doors to the balcony flung open, the young man clothed in a white and red jacket stepped out as the cold breeze flooded in, feeling like a dragon's breath. He looked at the glowing stars above him in the night sky as he took a deep breath and sighed, calming him.

As long as I can remember, or at least, since the very moment I was born into this world, my father has been teaching me the ways and laws of this world, the Enderverse. The reason why it's named so is because of its sheer size; the explorers who gave our home that name found that our planet was massively spacious.

The Enderverse, believed to be one of the only two worlds that had existed in this universe, is a complete world of darkness enveloped in the casted shadows of the void, where intelligent beings known as Voiders had populated the mountainous, rocky surface. Using their natural-born talents to control the Void as an elemental multi-use tool, the Voiders work together and unite as one to reach their common goal to build an everlasting, advanced civilization that will stand until the end of time.

As he looked up at the stars glittering like golden jewels in the lone night sky, he pondered about the civilization that the Voiders had created, wondering at the same time how things will get more advanced than what he was currently living in.

He looked away from the stars and took a moment to think about the events that would happen in just thirty minutes from now. The feelings he had about those events were variously mixed, from feelings of happiness and joy, but also confusion as well. He didn't know what to think or how to feel about what would happen. So, to venture deeper into thought, he went back inside his room and sat down on a black chair, which was placed facing a large, rectangular grey desk.

Upon entering the bedroom, the first thing you would notice is the size of the room itself. The room he was currently in was a big, rectangular space, big enough to fit dozens of people. There were white walls surrounding the room, and standing with the walls were tall and great pillars. From the doorway to his desk, there was a large carpet that imaged the symbol of the Enderverse, which was an image of a dark purple sphere with an aura emitting from it. Two great swords crossed each other behind the sphere. On the walls were large rectangular paintings of various illustrations, from groups of authoritative people in exquisite clothing, to simple scenery. In two corners of the room, there stood two statues, wearing full suits of jet black armor. A large glass window which formed one of the walls of the room stood high and tall, reflecting the starlights from the night sky, and the door to the balcony was built into this window. In the center of the ceiling of the room, there hanged a large chandelier which shone brightly and filled the room with a white light. Off to the east wall of the room was a closed golden door with square indents as a decorative appearance.

As he sat down in his chair, he placed his elbows onto his desk and interlocked his fingers together in front of his face. He then looked straight ahead, at his door. It was a golden double-door with dark wood lining the borders of it. He then closed his eyes.

To think I'd be the next ruler of the Enderverse so quickly, and at a young age too... it's quite a breath-taking thought. I wonder what Tarion is thinking in that unpredictable mind of his...

He opened his eyes again and took a look around his room. What he knew was that after he would be crowned as the next ruler of the Enderverse, he wouldn't be using this room any more. He would be moved up to a much better room than this one. The thought of that made him feel slightly more comfortable.

As if realising something important, he stood up quickly, sending the chair he was sitting on floating backwards, as the technological workings under the floorboards responded. He then began to walk to a large closet, When he walked up to the closet's doors, he grabbed the handles and pulled open the doors. Inside the closet was a collection of beautiful, exquisite, expensive-looking clothes. Despite looking so expensive, every single piece and article of clothing only had a colour scheme of black, red, white, grey and blue. This was simply because those were his favourite colors.
