I kept wondering
about how natural it seemed
to talk to you
how come I'm so comfortable with you
like two old friends
reconnected after a long parting
rapport was established
faster than the speed of light
awakened meaningful emotions
to decipher the given situation
I never felt alone
not anymore
talking to you became my stress reliever
your profound knowledge
got me attracted
made me speechless
I'm so amazed
You made me laugh
with your witty humor
touched my heart
with your choices of word
We shared some similarities
and acknowledged our differences
we had common languages
communication was at its best
We were getting to know each other
a little too well
we started to open up
and show our real feelings
inch by inch
we got closer
our distance didn't matter
The moment you came into my life
was such a solace
your arrival might have no prior notice
but I've been waiting
for you
to get here
I knew right then
it was you
and I found it true
my heart needed someone
to take care of it
my heart found solace
in you.
