Happy New Year's! That's why I didn't get to update yesterday, we had family over all day. But it's here now! Thank you so much for voting and commenting, it really means a lot to me.

With Ben's deep blue eyes locked on mine, I had completely forgotten why I was even in this room. That was, until, I heard the opening and slamming of doors, and yelling.

"Where are you, you little bitch! We have some unfinished business!" completely pulled me out of my trance. I quickly pulled away from Ben and ran into the room.

The room had blue walls with a door to what I'm assuming is a bathroom on the right. There was a desk, dresser, closet, and crap every where. Someone seriously needed to clean this room.

"I'm guessing that's who hurt you." Ben said, staying by the door. I nodded, and sat down on the bed. Ben told me he'd be right back and then went out the room. I could hear the two boys talking, but not well enough to understand what they were saying. Then the door flew open, and I saw Ben trying to push the big dufus away, but he had already seen me.

"You." he growled, and tried to push Ben out of the way. Ben, however, was a bit bigger than the dufus(my new nickname for him) and wouldn't let him get past.

"Leave her alone Marcus, you already hurt her once."

"And she hurt me. It's pay back time little girl." Dufus, or Marcus, said, his eyes still locked on mine. It might have been smart to look away, since he was scaring the shit out of me, but I was so scared that I couldn't move.

"Come on Marcus, leave her alone or go home." Ben scowled at him. Marcus glared at Ben, then at me, and then left.

"You okay?" Ben asked me as he walked over and sat down on the bed. I nodded my head, still paralyzed from fear. He didn't answer, but got up and walked into the bathroom. He came back with one of those ice packs that you break and it freezes. He broke it and then held it to my cheek.

"Thanks" I mumbled and took hold of it. We sat quiet for a moment, when I started to wonder, why was Ben in here anyway? This was his party, he should be downstairs, not in here helping me.

"What are you doing in here?" I asked quietly, finally turning to him. His deep blue eye's were staring right at me.

"Hiding." he answered bluntly.

"Why?"

"From Trent and Kelsey." he stated. Why was he hiding from them? He must have seen the confused look on my face because he quickly answered before I could ask.

"I don't want to be around Kelsey. She's stuck up and a bitch. Plus, she split my lunch all over me the other day."

"What about Trent?"

"Trent? He's helping her find me. I heard them say something about a plan when they walked past this room."

"Oh." was all I could say. I didn't want to accidentally tell him about the plan. Kelsey would kill me for sure.

"Wait, aren't you and Kelsey sisters?" he asked me.

"Maybe, why?"

"You would know something about this plan of her's then, wouldn't you?" he said, giving me a questioning look.

"I..I don't know what your talking about. Kelsey doesn't tell me anything anyway." I quickly said, looking away from Ben.

"Come on, I won't let her know that I know about it."

I shook my head, no way was I going to be the one to ruin her plan. Ben sighed, giving up, and took the now warm ice pack away and into the bathroom.

"Why are you helping me?" I asked.

"I wasn't just going to leave a hurt girl alone. I do a lot of mean shit, but you don't beat a girl to get her in bed." he answered from the bathroom. Oh, well good to know that's not how he gets them all in bed, I guess. I was going to ask him more, but I was tired and ready to go home.

I stood up to leave and started towards the door. I was so done with my first real party.

"Where are you going?" Ben asked, walking out of the bathroom.

"Back downstairs, probably home." I told him, my hand turning the door knob.

"Well I hope you had fun." he said, smiling at me. I smiled back, and walked out, but turned back around.

"Give Kelsey a chance. She'll surprise when its just her. She's different then." I told Ben, and left.

I walked to the living room and went to the kitchen to see if Trent was in there. I already knew he was before entering by the sounds of my screaming sister.

"Just tell me where he is and I'll talk to him myself!"

"I told you already, I don't know!" I saw Trent yelling back when I walked in. I pushed my way through the crowd starting to gather around them.

"Hey!" I yelled. "That's enough. Kelsey, if you want to find Ben so bad, go look yourself. Trent, will you take me home?"

"You want to go home already?" Trent asked.

"Yes. I've had quite a night and I want to go home." I said angrily. I needed to go home and have a nice, hot bubble bath.

After arguing with Trent for ten minutes about taking me home, with my sister's occasional comments about me being to lame for a party, he finally agreed.

We drove in silence and I could tell he wasn't happy about taking me home.

"Thank you." I said quietly when we arrived at my house.

"No problem." he answered, and I walked inside.

When I got in, I went straight to the bathroom and started a bath. I spent the rest of the night soaking in hot water, eating chocolate, and reminiscing on my encounter with Ben.

I'm not that pleased with how this chapter turned out, but I've been re-writing it for what seems like forever now. Thank you again for reading it!
