YAY! My research paper is finally done.

Here's chapter 14. Sorry if you find it boring. Tell me your thoughts on this chapter, k?

BTW, I didn't proofread this yet(again)

I made this book trailer out of boredom. I used the opening of Fullmetal Alcemist. Don't worry, Zander's hair is not that long.

The cold morning air was like a slap to the face.

We were flying over a lake. We left Valan roughly an hour ago but it was still morning and creatures were starting to stir below from their slumbers.

Because of the cold, the four of us were practically clinging to each other to conserve body heat. A yellow bird with a really wide beak flew by, Afetil said it was a Tutski bird, and dropped an unusually red surprise unto Royage’s hair.

“Ugh,” he exclaimed. He jumped so high that he almost fell off the Tioreta if it weren’t for Tamora. She grabbed his collar before he could slide off and steadied him with a resounding “umph” from Royage.

When he finally managed to recollect his sanity, he poured the water from his jug on his head, shaking the poop off. By the time he was contented that the entire poop was off his hair, all the water from his jug were gone. Great, he waste resources on his oh so important hair.

When the morning air was finally freezing, Afetil had an Idea. She created this warm ball of energy that radiated heat, increasing a body heat significantly. After that, we flew in comfort, enjoying the landscape as we flew.

I didn’t know I fell asleep until I woke to a loud thud and I fell off the Tioreta. I was scared out of my mind. I was falling off the Nyek until I hit ground only a few moments after falling, the heat from the ground returning me from shock

I stood up, groaning and rubbing my shoulder. My friends laughed as they went down, lugging our bags with them. It took me a moment to realize that we landed, and in the middle of a field. All the grass has been cut flat but there were still enough to be soft enough to lie on.

I sat down on the comfortable floor. Donnest dropped our bags next to me and collapsed on them.

“Why’d we land?” I asked, still a little sleepy.

“I’m guessing this is probably the farthest the Tioreta can go from his home.” Afetil said, sitting between me and Donnest while Royage just stood there..

I watched as Tamora pet the Tioreta near the neck and kissed its scaly head that earned her a sort-of whimpering from it. Tamora stepped away and the Tioreta flapped its wings, blowing blades of grass that remained all over. It ascended up and turned south. Slowly, it turned from a Nyek on the sky, to a blob, a dot, and then it was gone.

Tamora sighed.”’You okay?” I asked.

She smiled at me, “I think I’m going to miss him,” she sighed again.

I chuckle, “You get too attached,” I said playfully.

She was suppressing a chuckle now, ”I’ll miss you too. You know, when you leave for your world.”

“No you won’t,”

“Yes, I will,”

“Sorry to interrupt you two,” Afetil said, “But we need to get going. Walk now, flirt later.” Tamora and I shied away from each other, trying to hide our blushes.

We stood up and grabbed our bags for a long walk. Base on the location of the sun, it was maybe nine in the morning. The warmth that radiated from the sun was amazing after the col morning air. There were no beasts in sight, only fields and a few trees far ahead of us.
