Chapter 6

ALANNAH'S POV

NEXT DAY EVENING.

"Baby, Come on wake up." Someone whispered in my ear.

"Mmmm." I moaned, snuggling closer to my bed.

"If you don't wake up, we won't be able to go on the date." Xavier whispered,

"Huh." I said, sitting up.

"Our date." Xavier said,

"OH MY GOD!! OUR DATE!!! I can't believe I fell asleep. Oh my god." I said, covering my face.

"It's not your fault baby, ok we both fell asleep." Xavier said, trying to cheer me up.

"But I planned everything last night." I complained,

"Curse my need for an afternoon nap!"

"Ok, now go get ready we have an hour before we leave." Xavier said, pushing me off the bed.

I looked over the clock and saw it was 6:47 p.m.

I quickly entered the bathroom, washed my teeth and showered, I then got out and dried myself.

Stepping out of the bathroom I saw that Xavier wasn't in the room so I went into my closet and chose a blue strapless dress. It was all fluffy on the bottom and straight at the top with a sliver belt in the middle dividing it. I stepped into some blue wedges that fit me perfectly. For my hair I curled it from top to bottom. I then put on some dark blue mascara, red lipstick and a bit of blush on my cheeks. I looked at the mirror to see the result.

"Ok, I look good now time to go." I said to myself leaving my room.

Walking down the stairs, I saw Xavier, waiting for me at the bottom.

"You look beautiful." Xavier smiled up at me.

"Thank you, you too." I complimented him.

He was wearing a suit with a black bow.

I looked around and saw that the house was empty.

"Where's everyone?" I asked,

"Movies." Was all Xavier said before pulling me out the door to his car.

Outside in front of the house was his black Lamborghini Gallardo.

"Nice car." I said, smiling at him.

"Thanks." He said smiling and opening the door for me.

I smiled getting in.

Wait a minute. I was the one that asked him out so I should be doing that.

"Xavier wait!" I called out, rushing out the car.

He looked confused as I walked around and opened the door for me.

"I asked you out so I should be the one to do this." I explained,

He stared at me unsure, this was obviously the first time this has ever occured to him.

"What? Is your pride to big to be treated like this?" I smirked,

He scoffed and slid into the driver's seat. He answered me when I got in. "Not even close. Life is all about breaking gender barriers." 

We pulled out of the house gate and drove to where I instructed Xavier to drive.

"So, where are we going?" He asked even though he was driving.

"You'll see... when you drive us there." Was all I said.

Xavier put his hand on my knee and started rubbing circles which made my body tingle.
