The cameras started rolling, Link's heart beating fast in his chest. He was both nervous and anxious about this. Rhett spoke, his voice was serious and clear. "This is the last episode of Good Mythical Morning." Link knew this was his cue to deliver the catchphrase one last time. He looked directly into the camera and focused on steadying his shaky voice.

"Let's talk about that."

"Good Mythical Morning."

"Mythical Beasts, after four years, ten seasons, and over one thousand episodes, Good Mythical Morning is coming to a close. This is, as Rhett said, our last episode."

"You may wonder why we are stopping such a successful show, well, in the simplest explanation, we want to do something else now. But don't worry, we will find a way to give you content often. Maybe even daily."

"But, Good Mythical Morning itself, is over. I am so sorry that we had to come to this. I know y'all never wanted it to end, but it is. W-we've been neglecting our main channel, we want to return to more sketches, local commercials, and music videos and maybe even more seasons of Buddy System." Link drew in a shaky breath, his heart beating faster and faster. He coughed dryly and Rhett looked over worriedly. Link was now sweating and looked pale.

"Link? Are you alright, brother?" Link seemed lost is his own world, hand over his heart as he breathed heavily. He seemed so distant as he stared down at the desk. He slowly shook his head as tears pooled to his eyes. "Uh... Stevie! Cut the cameras!" Rhett turned in his seat and brought a steady hand to Link's upper back. "Buddy, what's happening? Are you having an anxiety attack?" Link brought his legs up onto the chair and hugged them to his chest. He buried his face in his knees and nodded. He coughed dryly as his heart raced deeply within his chest.

It felt as though the world was crashing down all around Link. His chest tightened and he closed his tear filled eyes. "Link! Link you gotta breathe, slow and steady. Shh.. don't cry.. Everything's alright. You're okay, you're okay." Rhett gently rubbed Link's back in a circle as the younger man broke down fully.

"I-it's not okay, man!!" Link yelled at Rhett, who was now taken aback by his friend's outburst. Rhett carefully wrapped his arms around Link, picking the man up and carrying him to the couch in their office as he sobbed into Rhett's chest. Rhett set him down and he curled up. Link was breathing fast and still sweating.

"Link, listen to me. It's going to be okay. Trust me. Just slow down. You can do that. Slow down."

"I-I can't, Rhett!! I can't!!!" Link coughed and ran his fingers through his hair. He was breathing so fast. Rhett gently pushed his shoulders, lying the panicked man on his back. Rhett hopped off the couch and knelt by his friend's side. He grabbed Link's hand and put it to his chest.

"Breathe slowly. Like this." Rhett took deliberate, slow and deep breaths in and out. He wanted Link to feel the rise and fall of his chest, so Link could match it instead of the rapid up and down of his as he heaved and heaved. "Link, try to breathe just like me. Don't go too fast, you could faint. What is it, buddy? What's wrong?"

"W-we can't do it, Rhett... G-GMM m-means so much to th-them. E-ending it is g-giving me anxiety!!!" Rhett nodded and wrapped his arms around the sobbing man he had known for almost his whole life.

"You don't want to end it?"

"W-we can't let them d-down, Rhett. W-we wouldn't be able to do this without them.. Pl-please."

"Alright, we won't. We'll get right back to work. We won't end it. Does that help at all?" Rhett asked while still hugging Link close to himself. Link nodded and fully broke down on Rhett's shoulder. The pent-up emotions were all spilling out. He eventually cried himself to sleep, right there, still being hugged by Rhett. Rhett gently hugged Link, then slowly lowered him to the couch again. Link shivered in his sleep and Rhett took off his hoodie. He wrapped it around Link and let the man sleep. He took off Link's fogged up glasses and folded them, leaving them on the table.

He gently brushed away the hair that had fallen out of place, fixing it for his sleeping brother. Rhett smiled a bit and rubbed Link's back softly. Link sighed as he relaxed and the smallest smile spread across his lips. Rhett smiled as well and walked out of the office, turning out the lights. He found the crew, most of them had gathered in the kitchen. They looked up, silence filling the room as the quiet conversations ended. The employees looked to their boss and he spoke.

"GMM is not ending. Link's choice. Don't be too loud, he's sleeping, but, crew, get back to work." Rhett smiled and so did each member of the crew. They hadn't lost their jobs after all. They left without saying a word and Rhett sat down in the booth and sighed. He ran his fingers through his hair and smiled. He was relieved. He didn't want to end it so soon either. Not after seeing videos of how much this stupid show he and his best friend made did for people. Saved lives. Who could give that up? Rhett smiled a little still, and he knew, neither he or Link could ever give it up until they weren't able to go on.
