"The engagement rule." Chase said with certainty. I nodded along as I thought this through. This just might work. If Leo could come up with two... Scratch that, three different rules in the drop of a hat, then who says we couldn't come up with one for him? I realize he thinks he's like the master at these rule type things, but we're about to give him a taste of his own medicine. He almost stopped me from telling Chase how I felt about him. This kid was going to get it good.

"That sounds perfect. But, what are the terms?" I asked as I leaned back against the wall in the hallway. Chase nodded as he let his fingers rub his chin in thought. He tended to do that a lot.

"What do these things usually have? I never really helped plan dad's wedding." Chase countered as he crossed his arms over his chest. I sighed as I let my head tip back, looking up to the ceiling as I did so. I jumped slightly as I heard the door open and close to reveal Adam was now joining us in the hall.

"Hey, buddy?" Chase greeted warily. I was in agreement that Adam should be out here helping us with this, but I had no idea he'd show himself out here. Adam smiled as he rubbed his hands together.

"How are we pranking him this time?" Adam whispered as he leaned in closer to us. I rolled my eyes as I stood up straight.

"Adam, we're not pranking Leo." Chase said simply as he turned to face me.

"Per say." I added. Chase nodded in agreement before looking over to see a disappointed look on Adam's face.

"So, what are you two doing? Making out?" Adam teasing with a suggestive eyebrow raise.

"Yes, Adam. We snuck out in the hallway to make out." I replied sarcastically as I glared back at him.

"I knew it!" He cheered happily. I let my eye close in annoyance of him. Why did everyone immediately assume that Chase and I ran off to random places to make out?

"She was kidding. We are trying to figure out a rule to give to Leo." Chase said as he patted Adam on the shoulder.

"Oh, it has to have something to do with the wedding." Adam suggested. I nodded.

"We're calling it the engagement rule. We just don't know the terms of it yet." I continued. Adam stared down at the corner of the wall as he thought.

"Well then let's just tell him to listen to Jannel the whole time. Pretty simply, right?" Adam asked hopefully. I nodded along as Chase's face lit up.

"That great!" He agreed with a smile. I sighed before motioning that they follow me inside. I opened the door with ease to find Leo was sprawled out on the couch with the remote in his hand, watching none other than, Saturday cartoons. I sighed as I walked over and ripped the remote from his hand while Chase closed the door behind me.

"Hey!" Leo yelled as he jumped up and attempted to take the remote back. I shook my head and flipped off the tv before he could protest any longer. Adam smiled slyly before pushed Leo back down on the couch.

"Guys?" Leo asked as Adam walked around the couch and stood safely behind his friend. Chase walked over to my side and placed the remote on the coffee table right before us before waiting for me to start.

"Okay, Leo. We have something for you." I started. Chase smirked as he saw Leo sit up.

"What is it?" Leo asked excitedly. Adam smiled enthusiastically, happy that he was apart of this payback. I smiled as I let the other rules play safely in my head.
