Aiden stayed in a 5 star hotel, wondering why he slapped her. Anger just came to him, but at the same time, she deserved it. Lydia should never talk to him like that. She should have respect for her husband, no matter what he does to her. At least that's Aiden thought.
He stayed there in silence, anger and sadness, all at the same time. While Lydia was trying to deal with it somehow. In regret. Regret of marrying him, dating him and meeting him. She regrets everything she done with him and for him.
She still cried and cried until her eyes become red and puffy and falling asleep in her bed, hugged against a pillow to make herself feel better.
The next morning Lydia woke up with the front door slamming shut. She opened her eyes quickly but she stayed in bed, just not wanting to stand up to start her day. Because the love of her life just slapped her across the face.
Thank goodness it was Saturday so Lydia doesn't need to wake up early or anything.
She heard some keys hitting the table. Her eyes shot up again as she heard footsteps towards her door. She sat up, wondering who it could be at this time. Maybe it's Allison. Lydia thought. Before she fell asleep, Lydia texted Allison saying that something happened and she needed to come over with the rest of the girls.
There was a knock on the door, Lydia forced a smile and told them to come in. When the door opened she was smile for real but when she saw who it was...
"What are you doing here?" Lydia asked standing up. Aiden put his hands up in surrender as he walked towards her. "Lydia, please calm down I just want to talk." He said.
Lydia took a few steps back without breaking eye contact with him. "No! I told I didn't wanted you here. Get out of my house, please." She said with tears in her eyes, afraid that she would get hit again. "Lydia, Lydia I'm sorry. I'm never gonna do it again, I promise you." He said. Aiden was starting to convince her. With those eyes and hair thinking that can make Lydia say that she'll forgive him, but she won't. Lydia fucking Martin, you better stay fucking strong. A voice in her head said. Maybe you should let him talk Lydia, maybe you should forgive him. Everyone deserves a second chance, right? Another voice in her head said. She was confused.
"Will you please forgive me? I'll do everything you want, please just forgive me." He begged. Lydia didn't know what to do or what to say. She needed time to think properly. Lydia walking in a circle with tears in her eyes trying to find the door without taking her eyes off of him. Lydia shook her head. "I'm not sure if I should forgive you. When I asked you if you were cheating on me, you slapped me in the face. So, I'm gonna ask you again. Are you cheating on me?" She asked before gulping hard.
The anger came at him again, he looked at her with furrowed eyebrows and walked towards her slowly. "Are you actually asking me that? Do you really think I would cheat on you?" Lydia stepped back afraid. The expression on his face was scary as fuck. She's never seen him like this before. This...angry, he looked like a monster that every kid is afraid of and they asked their parents to stay with them because the little children thought the terrible monsters were under their beds. That's how Lydia felt like. Aiden was the monster and Lydia was the little child, afraid of the monster to grab her by her foot or hand to pull her to another world that she didn't knew about but was sure that new world would be bad.
He kept walking slowly, not caring about how afraid she was. Lydia gasped finally finding the door knob, opening the door quickly. She ran downstairs with Aiden running after her shouting that he just wants to talk to her and she says she doesn't want to talk. Aiden finally catched her by the arm and pulled her to him, making her fall to the ground hitting her butt.
She screamed when he pulled her by the hair. He kneeled himself at the same level as her, pulling his face close to hers. "I just wanna talk Lydia. Nothing else." He said acting like nothing happened. Lydia sobbed quickly shutting herself up to not show him that he's winning.
"Let me go!" Lydia yelled punching him in the arm multiple times, eventually she ended up hitting his face really hard. Lydia knew what was about to happen so she begged for forgiveness but Aiden didn't listen to her, he was ready to punch her but luckily someone got in.
"Stiles!" Lydia stood up and ran towards him with tears in her eyes. Without even thinking, she wrapped her arms around him tightly hiding herself behind him. He looked at her in confusion than he looked at Aiden, his face was full of anger and that was something that Stiles has never seen on his face. As Lydia's bodyguard this past few months, nothing made him this angry. Unless it was something really bad.
Stiles decided to look at Lydia again than back at Aiden than Lydia. "Is everything okay?" Stiles asked Lydia concerned about her. Another tear fell on Lydia's cheek. She looked just looked at Stiles. "I-
"Nothing happened. She's fine, right Lydia?" Aiden interrupted her with a threatening look on his face. Stiles stepped towards him but Lydia held his wrist making him unable to move further. "Then, why is she like this?" Stiles asked trying to not sound rude or mad so he wouldn't get fired. "That is none if your business. But if that concerns you that much, we bumped into each other and I was in hurry so she fell and hurt herself. I was trying to help her up." He lied. Stiles wasn't exactly sure if he should believe it or not. The lie is so accurate that you wouldn't make it in an instant. Maybe he was planning this already.
Stiles didn't say anything else. He just stood in front of Lydia to protect her. Lydia held his shirt pulling him to her. Aiden started to walk. "Well, I need to go to work. You okay, babe?" He asked. Lydia nodded once he stepped towards her and kissed her on the top of her head. Lydia flinched at the touch and Stiles felt it. Something happened and I need to know what it is. Stiles thought as the door slammed shut meaning that Aiden was gone.
Stiles turned around to face her. "Lydia, what happened?" Stiles asked in absolute concern. Lydia shook her head and fake smiled at him like nothing happened. "Nothing Stiles." She said flipping her hair walking upstairs. "Get ready for work, I wanna start training."
Stiles ran after her taking two steps at a time. "I'm not going to work until you tell me what happened." He threatened. "Well," She started talking while walking towards her closet. "Then you'll get fired." She said. Stiles started walking to her pulling his sleeves until his elbows. "Oh, started threatening already?" He raised his eyebrows. Lydia laughed and nodded. "Now go downstairs and get ready for training, I don't want to waste time on this." She replied.
Stiles nodded and walked away. Lydia sighed when the door closed and tried to forget about today's incident.
