Part 26

Lydia threw herself in the couch after a long day. After, they came out of the bathroom Melissa came in a few minutes later saying that she could finally go home. As soon as she came into her house, Lydia locked herself in the office. Maggie came in running screaming for Stiles or Lydia as she heard the front door shut. They told her what happened even though when Stiles came by to take some of Lydia's stuff to the hospital, he told her bits and pieces but she never knew that it was Aiden.

But anyway, right now after a long Thursday and a lot of questions to answer at the interview, she got changed into some shorts and a tank top and went back downstairs and grabbed the remote and and turned on the TV. Stiles came out of the kitchen, cleaning his hand with a cloth. He sat beside her and gave her a kiss on the lips. They're really close since what happened at the hospital. 

He wrapped his arms around her and laid down with her on the couch, with on top of him. They stayed like this, watching a movie that they found. It was a romantic movie, Lydia was enjoying it so far. She was paying attention to it, but it made her think...

What's the relationship between him and her?

She sat up and looked at Stiles with furrowed eyebrows. Stiles kept looking at the movie but then when he noticed she was still standing there, he sat up as well and muted the TV  looking at her. "Hey, you okay?" He asked. Lydia looked at him in the eyes before talking. "What are we Stiles?" Stiles stood on the couch properly and looked at her. He didn't know what to say or do.... he just didn't know. After all, she was still with Aiden, they hadn't divorced yet and it's gonna be a long fight to take care of it.

"I-I don't know...." He replied. "As in relationship?" Lydia sighed and nodded. "Yes Stiles as in relationship. What are we?" Stiles brushed a hand through his hair not how to answer her question. He just mumbled a 'I don't know'. "What do you want us to be?" Lydia shook her head and looked down. "I don't know. I-I just know that I-I can't be with you. Not yet."

"What? What do you mean you can't?" He stood up with furrowed eyebrows. Lydia saw in his eyes confusion, anger and sadness all at the same time. Lydia looked down once again with teary eyes and looked back at him. "I can't because I'm still with Aiden, Stiles. I'm not gonna do that to him." Even though he cheated on her, she still couldn't do the same thing. She still couldn't act like nothing happened, she was like that but she never got to the point to do something so deep. She wouldn't cheat on him. She would never.

"But didn't you do that already?" Lydia didn't know she was thinking out loud before Stiles' voice drag out of her thoughts. "Didn't you do that? With me or you're gonna tell me that was different?" He asked. Stiles couldn't understand. After all he done to her. She's still like this. She sounds like she still has feeling for him. Like she..... like she loves him or something.

"S-Stiles. I'm sorry but I can't do that to him. I just can't be in a relationship with you while I'm already married to him. For five years Stiles. I can't." She answered. He kneeled down in front of her before speaking. "Look Lydia, I know that you don't want to hurt him or anything but what about what he done to you? What about the time he cheated on you? He never thought about your marriage with him. He never thought about the fact that he was already taken. He never thought about that. Plus, you're not talking to him anymore so the only thing that has to be done is the divorce papers."

"It's not that easy!" She snapped standing up. "Look at me Stiles! Look how I look right now and tell me what you see?!" He never got the chance to answer because she started speaking. "Don't you see a face full of bruises? Why do you think I have a broken rib? All of this because he doesn't want the divorce. Do you know what he wants?! TO KILL ME, THAT'S WHAT HE WANTS!" Silence filled the room. Stiles' eyes widened in shock, he balled his hands into fists beside him.
