"This can't be happening" Silicon said as he realised what was going on up above.

"Can so" Hive Queens voice echoed mockingly throughout the Chamber, "now, are you all going to join willingly now that there's no hope in hell to stop this much needed change to the human condition, or will I just have to open your eyes...like I did to your friends here?"

Silicon, Shadow Knight, and Robo-Warrior watched as suddenly Murdoch and Stephanie Walker came down into the cave through the tunnel they had fallen through earlier, crawling on the roof of the tunnel like some kind of spider.

They then stood in front of the entrance way to the tunnel above, blocking it to prevent the three heroes from escaping.

Then from the middle of that pool of "Hive Queen Tar" tainted spring reservoir water to be exact, emerged Velocity, Raven and Atlanta.

They all had black eyes, and were looking at them in a way that made their intentions very clear: Attack them if they say "No".

"This is Turing into a surrealistic nightmare right here" Robo-Warrior said.

"Guys..." Shadow Knight said whispering to the others, hoping the fallen Heroes Legion members wouldn't hear what he had to say to the two behind him "those cryo-guns and their "liquid freeze" junk won't kill them will they?"

"No, I didn't design the cryo-substance to do so. They'd just be put into temporary Cryo-Stasis. Why?" Silicon asked with a whisper.

"Because I think you both might soon be force to take those thing off of "Spray" mode in a few moments" Shadow Knight said as he charged up his drawn Shadow Guns in anticipation to an attack.

Realising as well as what was going to happen next, both Robo-Warrior and Silicon readied their individual cryo-weapons.

"Alright then...." Hive Queen's voice said disappointedly, "if you'd rather be forced into the new utopia kicking and screaming like a spoiled ignorant child, then I'll grant you that. Take them!"

The possessed/assimilated Heroes Legion members then took flying leaps at the three heroes, while they tried to keep them at bay while attempting to blast them with the cryo-vapor in order to free them from The Hive's grip.

But unfortunately, unlike Stephanie Walker before who was just a regular street reporter woman...the Black Tar constructs that were possessing Raven, Atlanta and Velocity, had access to their hosts powers and skills!

And also due to having access to their hosts mind and body, they knew how to use them by way of their host's memories.

Hive-Velocity vanished in a flash, and the next thing silicon knew, both Shadow Knight and Robo-Warrior were sent flying backwards through the air, courtesy of a supercharged punch that Hive-Velocity had dealt the two of them while in "hyper time" mode.

The two legionnaires struck the wall of the cave hard, and that plus the concussive force of Hive-Velocity's punch knocked Shadow Knight out cold.

He slumped down the cave wall to the ground alongside the still conscious and in the game Robo-Warrior.

Robo-warrior only had the wind knocked out of him due to the protective shock resistant chassis of the Robo-Warrior armor.
