Hangover

I didn't know what came over me, I guess I just wanted it to look like I was having a good time so that Liam would be happy. The game we were playing was to see who could drink the most shots. It was down to me and one of the so called, tough guys at the school and we had each drunken 6 shots. The room became dizzy but I was determined to win. The boy on the other hand, looked as though he was going to puke. As I picked up the last little glass I heard the chants from around me yelling my name. As they chanted I found the will power to drink the last one before dropping my head onto the table weakly.

This was the last thing I remembered. I attempted to open my eyes but the light behind them were too bright. My head felt like it had been crushed from the inside out and don't even get me started on the nausea, speaking of which-

I jumped up way too fast but I didn't care, my only focus was set on finding the nearest toilet. My feet found the icy tiled floor and then my knees gave way in front of the shiny percaline. As I threw up all I could do was mentally scold myself on drinking so much, I should've known better.

After all of my guts were spewed I hung my head weakly as sweat formed a thin line across my forehead. "You done yet? I really have to pee" The familiar husky voice said from behind me. I turned to see a not-so-happy Liam leaning against the door frame with his arms crossed. "Sure...jerk" I mumbled.

"You wanna repeat that?" he said a little too loudly for my liking and I turned to him, "I said" drawing out the words, "Sure jerk!" I yelled ignoring my pounding head. His nostrils flared and his face turned slightly red, "don't you dare get an attitude with me Addy! I'm the one who had to take care of you because you decided to be irresponsible!" He boomed before walking out and it made me flinch, what was his problem?

After a moment it finally clicked where I was as I looked around, this was Justin's house...ugh.

It had been a few hours since Liam and I had our fight and I had closed myself up in the guest room ever since. I didn't want to risk bumping into anyone, especially not Liam. I still didn't understand why he was so mad at me, it wasn't like it was so far fetched for a high school girl to get drunk.

I sighed and decided to look for some clothes to change into. I looked through the dresser drawers and saw that the only extra clothes that I had here was jeans. I groaned but put them on anyway.

Just then there was a knock on my door. "What do you want Liam?" I spat but nobody answered, instead the door opened and there was an almost scared Justin before me. "Oh, its just you" I say rolling my eyes before sitting on the edge of the bed. "Yeah, just...me" Justin said mumbling the last part.

"Can I help you with something?" I ask impatiently and he shakes his head. "I just thought that after what happened with you and Liam earlier that you would need a friend" he shrugged offering a small smile but I waved him off, "If I need a friend to talk to I will call Cami, you and I are not friends" I say darkly and he puts his head down in defeat, "Okay" He trails off before turning to walk out.

"Justin" I call after him and he turns around,"Yeah?" he says. "Can I borrow a t-shirt?" I ask twiddling my thumbs awkwardly. "Of course" his eyes light up just a little as he scurries out of the room and brings me back a shirt with Prince on it. "Uh...Justin since when do you like Prince?" I said obviously amused. "he's a classic!" he says confidently making me laugh.

Before I knew it we were talking and laughing.

"So I don't talk to her for one day and you're already trying to get her to take you back?" Liam said walking into the room and getting into Justin's face. "Woah bro, we were just talking" Justin says throwing his hands up defensively and my jaw drops at the sight. "Liam please, calm down" I plead but he ignores me, never looking away from Justin, "Don't you ever call me your bro, we're not brothers. Isn't that what you always use to tell me? Ya know, when I was begging you to make dad stop hurting me every night. Or when I came to live with you in this house" Liam spat and my eyes widened.

"Liam, I'm sorry" Justin said with a pained expression as he remembered all those times from their past. "Sorry doesn't fix anything, and look at you now" Liam said letting out an emotionless laugh, "even now you're trying to take away the only person who makes me genuinely happy! Well I hope you're proud of yourself...bro" he said before walking out leaving Justin in the same spot stunned. I couldn't bother to ask Justin if he was okay as I ran after Liam.

"Liam, Liam wait!" I yelled chasing him outside until he finally stopped. "What do you want Addy?" he said trying to keep his tears from over flowing. "Liam..." I trailed off caressing the side of his face gently as he buried his face into my palm. "I'm sorry that I drank so much last night...I didn't know it bothered you so much" I said softly.

He gently took my hand from his face and held both of them in his. "When you got drunk last night it just..it reminded me of my dad when he use to drink too much" he spoke gruffly but not angrily. "I-I didn't even think about that, I'm such an idiot!" I say ripping my hands from his and turning away from him trying to focus on something else, I can't believe how selfish and inconsiderate I was.

Liam wrapped his arms around me from behind and put his head into the crook of my neck. "Addy, don't say that" he whispered and his cool breath tickled causing a tingle to go down my spine. "It's true, I knew what happened to you and I completely disregarded it" I sighed as a tear escaped my eyes.

"Hey, don't blame yourself" Liam said turning me to face him so that he could wipe away my tears. "I should've just told you how it made me feel" he whispered before pulling me into a long hug. His warm scent filled my nostrils and I never wanted to pull away so I just held him tighter. "You don't have to hold me so tight, I'm not going anywhere" he chuckled making me blush so I let go and attempted to cover my face.

"Oh come on, let me see your red face" Liam pouted only making me blush more because he was really cute when he pouted. "No, I'm a tomato" I squeaked out and he laughed, "But I like tomatoes". I shook my head and he started to step closer to me, "If you keep covering your face then you can't kiss me" he gave me his signature smirk that literally made me melt but I had to fight it, he was not going to win!

"I don't want to kiss you, you perv" I said protecting my red face. He slapped his hand over his chest where his heart was and gave me a pained look, "everybody wants to kiss me, I'm irresistible!" he said causing me to giggle. "Well not me!" I said sticking my tongue out at him before covering my face once again.

"Fine, I think I still have those girl's numbers from last night so I'll just give them a call" he sighed backing away from me. "You're not going to win this!" I yelled at him as he continued to back away.

He was almost to the porch when I finally gave in. "You better not call them!" I squealed before I ran towards him and jumped into his arms.

"I told you that no one could resist me" he winked before pressing his lips to mine as he held me. I felt like I was in some type of dream that no one could wake me up from.
