I jump from my sitting position on my bed. I run out of the lab and teleport to the barrier. I step out and quickly teleport home. I run in, luckily it's unlocked.
"Georgia! You're back!" Mum smiles. I ignore her and run upstairs. I start taking down all of my work and place it in a neat pile on my floor. Mum comes up the stairs, and comes into my room.

"It's a bit late, Georgia. They've been and gone." I turn to Mum. "But it's all still here!" I defend.
"They took pictures of it, Georgia. I had to stay say on that sofa with someone watching me to make sure I wasn't hiding anything. I think and remember. The jar! I look to my desk. It's gone. Sweat instantly starts to drip down my face. I start scrambling through my research. Trying to find the glass jar filled with determination. I look towards mum.
"Did you see them take it?" I ask. She shakes her head.

"It must be here somewhere." I keep muttering to myself.
"You didn't let me finish, Georgia. When I said that someone watched me to make sure I wasn't hiding anything..." I look towards her direction in hope. "I never said they were good!" She chuckles pulling the jar out from behind her back. I grab the jar and place it on my desk. I hug her tightly.

"Mum. I love you so much." I place my head on her shoulder. "Thank you. Now, I've got to go before someone notices. I'm taking all of this down to Dad's, if that's alright." She nods.

"I'm always here for you, Georgia. Remember that. I'll come to the Barrier and you can speak to me then." I gather all of my work under my arm and hold the jar tightly in my hands. Mum holds the door open. I lean towards her to suggest that I'm hugging her.

"See you later. I will be back." I smile. Mum holds my head and plants a kiss on my forehead. I teleport to the barrier and walk through it, I don't want to fall down in case I smash the jar. I continue to transport all of my work to Dad's lab. I go through the door and walk to the slightly raised platform and walk across to my room, making sure that no one notices me. I slide all of the work underneath my bed and cover it up with the spare bit of duvet hanging off the edge. I walk out of my room. I see Sans and Dad walk into another room with an automatic door. As soon as they walk through, the door slams shut with multiple audible locks locking them in. I walk up to a viewing platform where Papyrus is stood, watching.

"ARE YOU FEELING BETTER NOW HUMAN?" He asks, his voice becoming more like his normal voice again. I smile and nod, showing him that I feel better.
"What is this?" I ask Papyrus. He faces me and tells me.
"THIS IS WHERE GASTER AND SANS USUALLY TRAIN! THEY FIND NEW WAYS OF ATTACKING AND DEFNDING READY FOR WHEN THE HUMANS FIGHT ONCE AGAIN! I COME AND WATCH SO I CAN MAYBE PICK UP IDEAS!" I understand him and watch Sans and Gaster look at each other.

Gaster starts by sending bones Sans' way, Sans doing similar but with bones coming from more directions. Of course, they can both teleport so it isn't as hard to dodge the bones. I watch in detail, thinking to myself what I would do in them situations. I see Sans pushed up in a corner, looking tired. Dad walks up to him, with a large Gaster blaster forming. I can see in Sans' face that he's scared and that he cannot move. Dad must've turned his soul blue - although, I was unaware that was possible with monster souls.

Sans' eye flames yellow, instead of blue for a moment or two, Gaster seems to slow his walking down a bit. But still continues to walk, at a slower pace. I can't take it anymore. I see the blaster charge up and about to fire. I teleport inside the room and create a shield of bones up to protect me and Sans. I look up towards Dad.

He doesn't look like he's evil or angry. He looks happy, I look back at Sans, and he's laughing.
This was a trick.
And I fell for it.
"We got her good, G!" Sans high fives Dad - I laugh along with them to hide my embarrassment.

"Thanks anyway, kid." Sans pats the top of my head. The large iron door opens to allow us to walk out. I walk to my room and lie down on my bed and think about what I've just done. Everything seemed to happen in a flash. A thought comes into my head.
