It was saturday morning and I was by Marisa's house.

I was swimming in her pool along with a couple cheerleaders and footballers.

I was having a good time, the sun was shinning, my period didn't come, my hair looked good, I got to watch hot guys with their shirts off- life was good.

"Hey Christie," I heard someone say.

I turned around and my smile vanished from my face.

It was Josh.

"What do you want?" I asked him, shooting dagers at him.

He gave me an easy smile, "I just want to talk to you,"

I rolled my eyes and turned around, "The answer is no,"

"Christie, please," Josh said with a hint of urgency.

I turned around and glared at him, "Fine,"

He walked out of the pool and I followed him as he entered the house.

"Where are we going?" I asked him.

He ignored me and walked upstairs.

I sighed and followed him.

He opened a door and walked inside the room.

I grudgingly followed him inside.

He turned on the light and I realised that we must have been in Derek's room.

Unless Marisa's room got an extreme makeover.

"What?" I asked Josh grufly.

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry I act like that with Marisa,"

I rolled my eyes, "Well maybe you should be talking to Marisa right now,"

He shook his head, "That's the thing, I don't love Marisa, I don't think I ever loved her,"

I sighed, "Your such a j-"

"I love you," He said, not giving me time to finish my sentence.

"Ugh, what?"

"I always loved you and I'm hoping you could give us a try," Josh said.

I staired at him in disbeleif, "Your going to break up with Marisa?"

"No, Marisa doesn't have to know anything," He said.

"What? your insane!, are you drunk!?"

"What? no, you don't beleive me?" Josh asked.

"You really are a jerk," I said.

I turned and was about to walk away when I felt a strong hand grab onto mine.

"Christie, I love you,"

Then suddenly everything happened too quickly.

Josh tried to pull me closer to him and I slapped him accross the face.

His hands tightened around mine and then the door swung open.

Derek (who was responsible for the swinging of the door) looked at us in confusion for a moment.

I stepped on Josh's foot, elbowed him in the ribs and ran out of the room.

I did trip a couple of times though.

Evidently its hard to run while your mind is trying to process everything that just happened.

I ended up in the kitchen, which had biscuit crumbs and some chips lying around.
