"So What do you want to do tonight, y/n?" Jake asked as you joined him in the living room after you were done your shower.
"Well I was sort of hoping that we could get some of the guys and their girlfriends together and go to a bar or something," you explained as you sat down next to him, drying your hair with a towel.
"Sounds like a fun idea, I'll text some of them now," he said as he turned his attention to his phone. You headed up to his room where all your stuff was so you could pick an outfit and get your stuff to do your hair. You decided on a black lace top and your dark wash Hollister skinny jeans, complete with nude pumps. You straightened your hair and put on a little eyeliner and mascara, and decided you looked decent.
Your thoughts were confirmed when you walked back out into the kitchen, because when you came out, Jacob let out a low whistle, as did Ondrej Pavelec who now joined him.
"Wow, good thing Eve ain't coming tonight because he'd be jeaaaalous!" said Ondrej, winking at you.
"I'm guessing you told him?" you asked Jake. You weren't even mad, you sort of wanted everyone to know how much of a dick Evander was.
"He did, I'm so sorry about that. He was very wrong and he's losing a great girl," Ondrej comfortingly told you with his hand on your shoulder.
"Thanks Pavy," you said. "Where's Melody?" you asked. Melody was his girlfriend and you and her were pretty close and had a lot in common.
"She's meeting us there later, she had to finish up some stuff at work," he explained.
You guys chatted for a while as you waited for more of the guys to come. Zack Bogosian, Dustin Byfuglien, and Michael Frolik all came along with their girlfriends. By then it was about 9 o'clock and you guys decided to head to the bar.
You guys were having such a fun time at the bar. You took some shots, had some laughs, and you and the girls even danced a little. You kept looking and smiling at Jacob, and he'd always smile back. Wow, he's so cute. look at those blue eyes! You'd think to yourself. Y/n, knock it off. He's your best friend! You didn't want to start liking Jake, it would ruin your friendship too much. Even in your drunken state you knew better than to fall for him.
A couple hours later everybody decided it was time to go back home. You and Jake took a cab to his apartment, and on the ride there, you look at him and say "You're so hot Jake. Why the hell are you still single?"
"Because you were with Eve," he said, pretty tipsy himself. You guys instantly started making out and didn't stop until the cab brought you to the apartment. After he paid the cabbie, he quickly lead you inside, where he pinned you to the wall and started kissing you again. He was kissing your neck, and slowly making his way down your collarbone as your hands played with his hair.
"Jake," you giggled.
"Yeah?" he asked between kisses.
"Do you wanna...?" you asked, and he looked at you and nodded. He picked you up and carried you to his room, setting you on the bed, shutting the door behind him.
