You wake up the next morning next to Jacob, both of you having massive hangovers. You tried to remember everything that had happened the night before, but couldn't remember every detail. All you knew for sure was that you and Jake had hooked up.

Oh my god, what have I done? you thought to yourself, looking at Jacob who was still asleep. This will ruin EVERYTHING!

You quickly throw on some sweats and an oversized Winnipeg Jets t-shirt and throw your hair up in a bun. You go to the bathroom to brush your teeth and wash your face. You had a headache and just wanted to go back to bed, but you had to think. You walk into the kitchen and start making some coffee, when you hear footsteps coming from the bedroom.

"Morning," Jake says to you, not talking to you differently than he would have any other morning.

"Hey," you say to him, pouring a cup of coffee for yourself and then offering him one. You slide his across the counter after he accepts.

"How's your head?" he asks as the two of you sip on your coffee.

"I'm surprised I still have one, what about you?" He laughs at your joke.

"Not awful, but I could be better." he replies.

The two of you sit sipping your coffee in silence, although it wasn't really an awkward silence.

"Hey, I got some tickets to tonight's game if you and a friend want to go or something," he offers, breaking the silence.

"Yeah, I'd love to, I know my brother's been dying to go to a game for a while, I'll text him!" you explain to him with great excitement in your voice. Evander rarely got you tickets, and when he did you had to sit next to one of the puck bunnies who had no idea what was going on.

You and Jake spent all afternoon lounging around and watching TV. At 5 o'clock, he got up and said that he had to go to the MTS Centre to warm up, and for you to go there around 6, since the game started at 7. After he left you showered and put your hair into a bun, threw on your jets jersey and headed to the rink.

Your brother Jared met you at the rink just outside the doors.

"Hey sis!" he said with a big grin on his face.

You guys talked for a while before the game started and then watched the close game intensely. It was nice that you could talk to Jared about what was happening on the ice, instead of getting blank stares every time you mentioned an icing.

The Jets ended up winning 3-2, because Jacob scored with 14 second left in the third, not forcing them into overtime. Jake had mentioned earlier that he'd like you to come see him in the locker room after the game, so after saying bye to Jared you headed down stairs.
