You decided that you'd wear a pair of yoga pants and your blue TNA hoodie to go dress shopping. It was easy to change in and out of, and that's what you wanted. You put on a little bit of makeup and decided that you'd leave your hair down, to get ta better feel of what the dress would look like the night of the banquet.
"Ready to go?" you ask Jacob as you walk out into the living room, where he and Zach are watching Sports Centre.
"Yes ma'am," he replies, getting up off the couch.
The two of you head down to Jake's car, and drive to a bridal shop downtown that also sold dresses for other occasions, which wasn't too far away from his apartment.
"Hello, My name is Christie, I'll be your consultant today. Are we looking for wedding gowns today or..?" a short blonde lady kindly asked as she approached you. You look at Jake and see he's smirking a little.
"Oh.. no, not wedding dresses. I'm looking for a dress for a formal event. The Children's Hospital banquet." you explain.
The woman turns a little red, probably because she realized the two of you weren't getting married. "Alright! Did you have anything in mind?" she asked, as the two of you continued to walk off toward the dressing room, leaving Jake in the waiting area where you would come show him the dresses you tried on.
She pulled out a few dresses, all of which you liked very much. One was purple with spaghetti straps, and had a rhinestone belt around it. It was knee length and flowy. The next one was red and long, with a sweetheart neckline and a mermaid fit. Both you and Jake liked the two of them, but thought they wouldn't really fit at a banquet for a Children's Hospital.
The third one was the perfect dress for the event. It was a dark green dress that was knee-length, and strapless. The material was satin, so it was kind of shiny. It looked amazing on you, and fit you perfectly.
You and the consultant walked out to show Jake how the dress looked on you. He definitely approved.
"Wow, Y/N.. It's perfect! you look beautiful." he said, smiling at you.
"Thanks Jake," you were beaming.
"I have the perfect belt to go with that!" Christie gushed as she ran off, quickly returning with a rhinestone belt. She tied it around your waist.
"Wow. It's amazing! I love it!! I'll take it." you turn to Christie, a huge smile across your face.
"Alright! Let's go get you back into your clothes so I can ring this up for you!" she exclaims, turning to guide you to the dressing room.

When you and Jake get back into the car with your newly purchased dress, you can't stop smiling.
"You sure looked beautiful in that dress Y/N," Jacob tells you.
"Thanks Jake!! And thanks so much for coming with me, it means a lot." you tell him.
The two of you drive back to his place in silence, both smiling.
