Hi this is my story of "my adventure". No not my love story, because I honestly don't think I was in love the whole time. This was an adventure because I didn't see any of it coming. My name? Oh I hate it, Haley Rose. I am just a high school junior at North Haven High living what I call a normal life Except for the fact my dad died before my brother Declan were born. Declan is 10 and the most annoying kid ever. My mom got re-married to the boy Dom Oriono's dad. Yes I went to school with Dom before our parents practically started living together. His dad hasn't been able to sell his house yet so we are back and forth between houses. So yes Dom Oriono whom is also in my group of friends is my step brother but mostly my bestfriend. I'd describe myself as the ok average athlete preppy girl. Now I'm currently on the basketball team ready for lacrosse season. I hang out with my friends every weekend. Everything about my life is normal until one night. May 30th 2013 was the day "my adventure" began.
Sam was my best friend and we have been since we were younger. I have other close friends and some I was absolutely fake around. For instance Julia, she was so pushy and we were "friends" and I had always had a feeling she hates me or something. But I got a text from her it read "Paul's house tonight, he said he's bringing a friend who's new here" Well maybe he'll actually be cute. I text her back "If he's cute I got dibs :O" She didn't answer so I figured she was on her way. I live on the street over to Paul so I could walk over any time. I decided since I should leave soon to get changed and ready. I decided on a comfortable look so leggings and a sweater. I put on mascara and eyeliner which is my everyday look. I pulled on my combats and grabbed my phone. My parents were downstairs so I asked if I could stay at Paul's house tonight. They didn't care since we were family friends. I ran upstairs packed a bag quick. I ran out the door thinking about this boy. What if he really is cute? Oh well I had dibs :P
