Chapter 19: A big shock

I just finished taking a bath, Ella told me that she’ll have a house party tonight and it’s almost 8 o’clock, I’m still applying some makeup just foundation, eyeliner, mascara and lip gloss. To be honest I’m waiting for Luke, he told me that he’ll pick me up and then we’ll go together. I don’t know what’s taking him so long, I’ve been texting him but he’s not answering.

I’m wearing a rugged short shorts and a rugged white tank top, I partnered it with my black Doc Martin boots, I braided my hair on the left side and now applying some gloss on my lips so that I’ll look alive.

I heard the doorbell ringing so I grabbed my wallet and phone and ran down the stairs,

I quickly opened the door,

“Myle!” A familiar voice greeted,

It was Calum!

“Hey Cal! What’s up?” I greeted back,

He didn’t answer, he look so terrified and tired, did he ran all the way to get here?

“Calum, what happened?”

Again, he didn’t answered

“Are you hurt?”

He stared at the ground and shook his head,

“And then what’s wrong? Where’s Luke? Are you guys okay?” I asked again, I’m so tense and I feel nervous, my heart’s beating so fast, I feel like vomiting

“OH MY GOD CALUM! WHAT HAPPENED?!” I exclaimed almost shouting, I can feel my eyes watering but I can’t feel any tears rolling down my face, feels like I’m going to collapse

“He’s .. He’s hurt! Real bad! We need to go to the hospital right away!” He explained,

I can’t breathe I really feel like fainting but I need to see Luke,

I grabbed my car keys and let Calum drive our way, I can’t focus, and who knows what might’ve happen if I’m the one who’s driving,

On our way to the hospital, I tried and kept asking Calum what happened to Lucas but he won’t answer me,

And then I noticed that were not going the right direction, I mean this is not the way to the hospital

“Calum, where are we going? This is not the wayto the hospital!!” I shrieked,

“This is a shortcut Myle, calm down!”

I closed my eyes and wiped my face, I really don’t know what I’ll do when something really bad happen to Luke, Oh my god, we’ve just started our relationship and now this! I can’t bare this all inside.

I don’t know what happened to him, Calum won’t talk to me properly I mean I think he’s in shock but I really think he’s just traumatized with what just happened to his best friend. I really hope Luke is okay, I don’t want to see him in any pain, I can’t..I can’t.. I can’t

I closed my eyes, thinking about the things that happened yesterday, how Luke proposed his feelings to me, how he smiled at me, how he made me feel alive for the first time in m entire life, he’s all I have with the fact that my mom is M.I.A. I don’t even know where she is and if she will come back,

I felt the car stop so I opened my eyes, it was very dark, the only light me and Calum has is the car’s headlight,

“Here we are!” Calum exclaimed,
