Chapter 35: Minx Vin Hall is Alive

Aux Fin Lee's POV

"Minx?! Y-You're alive?" Happiness went it's way into my face. But she answered me by pulling the string into her arrow which sent flying towards me, it was a red one.

A huge explosion set the cars on fire. I managed to run before it can reach me.

"My name is not Minx" KieraKins Grant shot her a bullets towards her. It wasn't a normal bullet, it's bullets are deadly explosives. One bullet can take down an entire person.

"You missed" Her voice stayed the same after all these years. Her face was filled with rage that couldn't be coated anymore. She's not the same Minx I know.

She's a deadly killing machine. And a good one at that.

"Did I?" A playful grin curved in Kiera's lips. Every time I looked at her, it's like falling in love all over again. Soon enough the wall of cement in which the bullet landed burst into flames. Yet she still managed to ditch the attack.

"What happened to you, Minx? How did you survived the fire?" I asked her while she threw multiple green arrows towards me. She looked more like a mannequin than a woman.

She jumped and manage to land some punch on my face. She was fast enough to give me a kick in the gut. But I never minded the pain. The important thing is she's alive. If this is a dream, I don't want to wake up again.

She was emotionless. It was like all the emotions that made her human was taken away. She isn't in a normal state of her mind. I knew better. Her attacks are precise but all her attention is not in the fight. Someone is controlling her.

While she ditched her attack I saw a tiny white ear piece on her ear. We are being watched and she was a puppet saying yes to every command the person says on the ear piece.

I got one of the guns. I added a bullet to it. It was laced with a sedative enough to calm her which will make her fall asleep. She remains an unsolved mystery to me.

Why does she want me dead? My bullet repelled her shoulder. But she didn't seem to mind the blood oozing from her wounded shoulder. Her eyes went sleepy and soon enough she fell asleep, She isn't strong enough to fight the sedative.

I caught her in my arms before her body hit the ground.

I loathe and hate the person that brought me back my sister. He will pay for making my sister a killing machine that is hell bent on killing me. I will find answers.

The Thieves Lair

I stared at her familiar sleeping face. I missed the cursive lines of her face, Her prominent features. Her eyes that always had this deadly look, blue orbs that I never forgotten.

She was sleeping on a single bed, She was strapped on the bed. Knowing, how dangerous she is, she will take the tiniest opportunity to escape and plot to kill me again.

She had medical apparatus all over her body. These tools keep track of her vitals. Someone is listening on the other line. Damn, These mad scientists are testing my patience. I stared at her ear and took out the tiny ear piece installed in her ear.

"Whoever is on the other line of this ear piece. Listen well, Start wishing that my sister recovers this deadly state or I will hunt you till the ends of the earth. You've made my sister a killing machine who wouldn't hesitate a second and kill me. Whoever you are, Just a friendly advice keep hiding because once I find you, You'll never escape my rage" Then I threw the ear piece on the floor and forcefully destroy it using my leather shoes.

"Hunter, What—"Viper went inside Master Wutt's makeshift lab. Shock went it's way into his face when he saw Minx sleeping on the bed, strapped.

"M-Minx?" Bravado and Kincaid said all at once. Shock was written all over their faces.

"Before we could enter Yamamoto group of companies she interfered and fought with us. Until her mask got destroyed and showed half of her face" Their stunned expression was astounding to look at.

Deviant Levan's POV

I was in the Lab, praying Ava's mission wouldn't be jeopardized. The camera on her contact lenses made me see her whole battle with the guy with a jet black hair. Ava and the guy had an eerie resemblance.

The guy seem to have her physical features.

She was caught and was bought to an unfamiliar place. Her ear piece gave me the capability to hear everything even when her eyes was close shut. The guy turned out to be her brother. The guy had threatened me and he seem to be the man who keep his word.

His deadly tone was the last time I heard before I heard a screeching sound on the ear piece that somehow gave a little damage to my ears. He crushed the ear piece. I have no way on hearing everything in their whole conversation.

Before I realized, Someone was hacking the security firewall of the lab. It can't be. I inserted a program on the firewall in which it's main purpose is to hide my IP Address. How did they know my exact location? What danger am I up against?

Aux Fin Lee's POV

The security alarm tripped off after I went out outside to see Master Wutt. I went inside to see that the medical apparatus had been taken off and had been laid harshly on the hospital bed.

There was no Minx lying on the bed. It was next to impossible for her to escape the room because the door uses a RFID, an ID that is limited to Cat Burglar like us, one swipe and the door opens.

"You deserve to die" She aimed her green arrow on me, which was sent flying into my direction. I was able to dodge it, but it somehow pieced my shoulder. Blood was oozing from my shoulder. She had a sick smile on her face.

"There's no way you could escape death, Aux Fin Lee" She used her blue arrow, Her eyes widened in amazement to see a weak expression on my face. She didn't hesitate to throw the blue arrow flying towards me.

My vision was hazy. But I somehow managed to stop the arrow from entering further in my body. Before I could realize that the arrow was poisoned, I saw her held a gun towards me.

Her eerie expression and a bullet coming towards was the last time I saw before I lost track of space and time.
