Chapter 42: The poisoned kiss

Aux Fin Lee's POV

Her piercing blue eyes went wide open as she laughed seeing I had cuffed her.

"It seems like your style hadn't changed. The cuffs and all" I heard a little bit of spunk in her voice as she spoke. She smiled at me, teasingly.

"Old habits die hard. Let's play a game shall we?. I hear a lie and I put a bullet in your hands, Then yours legs and finally that pretty little head of yours" I chose the chair in front of her. My words seems like an amusement to her.

"Sure. Thanks for the snide compliment" She seemed at ease and I never saw a shot of fear in her eyes as I spoke of killing her. She had grown to be a sick masochist.

"Why did you form a thieves organization pretending to help the world when all of your intentions was as black as your heart?" My cruel words start to get inside of her. Her unwavering smile was replaced by a sad expression.

"This organization was meant to help you rebuild your life. Everything I did for you was to make up for all the mistakes I did in the past. You are the world's only salvation" Her face went serious all of a sudden. A part of me wanted to buy her theatrics.

"Nice try, Lady. But your lies won't work on me. I don't trust a word you say" My forehead cased in annoyance with all of her formulated lies.

"I was a helpless little girl when my father made me a killing machine meant to kill you. But we fell in love and it was epic but the sun rose up and realization hits. I never meant to hurt you. All of my plans backfired after I fell in love with you. I was planning to leave you but my sister intruded and attempted to kill you" If I wasn't immune to her lies, I would have believed every single damn word she said.

"Well-played, Lady. Using the past against me. Doesn't work on me" I got a small pocket knife from my bag. I aimed it in her throat.

"Let's get real for a minute, Shall we?" I was about to cut her hand with the blade when I saw tears in her eyes.

"Your anger for me made you heartless. But if you open your heart again. You'll know that I meant every word" She spoke with tear filled eyes. The tears was smearing her mascara.

"Are you that desperate enough for you to use that tears enough to lure me in the net of your betrayal and kill me when I turn my back? I lost my family because of you. Don't expect me to trust you again" I walked near the glass walls and tried to weigh every option.

To kill her or not to.

"Believe what you want to but God knows how much I loathe the fact that you lost everything because of me, your old life, your family and heart that knew how to love" Her curls were messy and her lipstick was smeared.

"Spare me the theatrics, That won't change the fact that I will kill you eventually" I mercilessly told her and breath some air to remain calm, My patience was running out. I cannot tolerate any more of her lies.

"Do your worst. But not even once that I lied" I removed my coat because the temperature got high. The ventilation wasn't good in the room. The only thing left was my white long-sleeved polo.

I dragged the her chair towards the glass walls that had the whole view of the city. Using all my strength, I broke the glass walls using a metal chair in the room.

"One more lie and you fall down this building in that chair" I kicked her chair on the edge of the broken window but nothing seems to scare her.

"Hidden behind that gorgeous body of yours was the Hunter Duss Hall that fell in love with me too. I know you don't have the strength to let me fall"

"Infatuation and love are very different things. Don't mistake them as the same thing. What we had wasn't love, It was a perfect illusion" My words stung her as tears fell down her eyes.

"Is it?" My eyes narrowed in shock as I saw the cuffs on her hands. She skilfully removed it from the chair. She was fast, I didn't even notice her uncuffing herself.

She walked the distance that was keeping us apart and cuffed my face as her lips collided with mine. The heat from her lips stunned me at first. I was taken aback and I got all tongue tied.

I was unable to say a word.

Her lips colliding with mine brought back old memories of us. It made me remember the person I was, Hopelessly in love with her. It brought back memories but I don't remember the feeling anymore.

It was gone. It was replace by the memory of that blond girl with emerald green eyes that fills my fantasy, filled me with hopes and dreams. Made me remember what it felt to love passionately again.

She was a good kisser. I felt something in the kiss but that didn't out weight my love for Kiera Kins Grant, She's still the only person deep inside this heart of mine, That will never change.

I pushed Raven Rox gently. But then something sharp hit my back and I lost track of space and time. I harshly removed the sharp thing that was buried in my back.

Tranquilizer dart.

As my eyes slowly closed I saw the door of the room. Her eyes were filled with jealously, Her eyes was emerald green and her blond hair had curls...

She looked so much like my Kiera... My gum...

Raven Rox watched me fall off my feet and eventually on the ground...
