Chapter 37: Capturing the Elusive Mad Scientist

Via's POV

I was enjoying the look on his face as he saw my sick expression. He's the little mouse and I was the cat that could bite his head off whenever I want to, in any way I want to. But biting off his head would make death seem so easier.

I like toying with my prey before I kill them. It would make it so much fun than putting a single bullet in his head, It's all the fun I get being always trapped in the sub-conscious of Kiera. Getting bored because I'm powerless.

Seeing her screw up everything. Leaving her prey alive. But seeing his stunned expression, I might even like playing death with him.

"I have three options for you, Die, Die and Die" A drop of sweat broke in his forehead. I walked in a circular motion near him. I dropped the Katana that I was holding. That somehow showed relief on his face.

"I have questions for you, If I hear a single lie, Then I'll tear your limbs. Starting for your hands, feet and head, Until there is nothing left of you" I cupped his face and gave him my most sickest grin.

"I-I will do whatever you ask of me. Just spare me my life" His word were stuttering, which was clearly a sign of weakness, He had that terrified look on his face that I enjoy so much, It was such a sight.

"Who do you answer for? Who instructed you to make Minx Vin Hall a human killing machine?" I was playing with a knife in my hand, I was ready to stuck it in his throat once he lies.

"I-I answer to no one. I and I alone made her a killing machine" I saw his body tremble as more sweat broke from his forehead. His eyes weren't steady, they we're moving around. He was clearly concealing something.

"Lies, Lies, Lies. I know one when I hear one. You're a dreadful liar. One more lie and you'll be missing you're head" I aimed the knife on his head.

"It's the guy in a mask. He was an eerie person because he never, not even once let me see his face" I can tell from his face that he was telling the truth this time.

"That's more like it. Ava was made for what purpose?" I was back to playing the knife in my hand. I threw it in the air and catch it with my hand, over and over again.

"Ava, Was made for one purpose to kill, Aux Fin Lee" I touched his shoulder. But he cringed at my touch which amused me more. Rage can be seen from my eyes.

"It would really satisfy me to kill you this instant. I had the temptation to wring that neck of yours and cut off your useless head which contains intellect that destroys lives. But you still may be of great use to me. Bring back Minx Vin Hall from her natural state or suffer a most painful death. Remember, I'm always watching" With that I punched him strongly in the face, which made him unconscious.

Before he could land on the floor, I caught him and plan to bring him back to the lab. A part of me, That tiny voice in my head was wishing that Aux Fin Lee is still alive and I would still have the honor to kill him for the outmost satisfaction.

I opened his lab and left a message to his boss.

"Don't bother finding Dr. Deviant Levan Illustrious. He's my new pet now. I control him now. Find him if you can. But whatever you do, I'll always be one step ahead of you" I threatened him and left the lab satisfied.

Thieves Lair

"Save the act, Via. I know you still possess her body. You can be real now. Everyone went out" He recognized that sick grin on my face.

"I am really enjoying that lips of yours. No wonder you got Kiera fooled. But not me. See you, But next time don't expect me to still save that ass of yours" I let out a sick laugh before I went unconscious.

Kiera Kins Grant's POV

I gave Aux Fin Lee a warm and long kiss on the lips. I was stunned to see medical apparatus installed on his body. Shock and worriedness drew on my face.

"Let me guess, Via? Did she do something evil and twisted again?" Her hesitation to hug me gave me an idea that she was still afraid that Via got herself in trouble again and killed an innocent person.

"No, She saved my ass. I should thank her for that. But god knows how much she hates to be the heroine" I gave her a peck on her lips again. Her lips tasted like cherry. I looked into her eyes and I never saw Via, No matter how Kiera's personality is eerie, Having two different personalities in one body.

Those imperfections made me love her more, even the darkest parts of her. More than anything else in the world.

"Via also brought a gift for me" She stopped on her track and turn back to meet my gaze. Those green emerald eyes was captivating to look at.

"What?" Her stunned expression was so fun to look at.

"Not, What. Who. Dr. Deviant Levan Illustrious" With that I walked the distance that was keeping us apart. I caught her waist and dragged her in the hospital bed with me. I planted several kiss on her cheeks which made her cringe because of my thin beard.

"Stop worrying. Via isn't that bad. She just have an evil and twisted way of showing it" I hugged her tight. I was pretty sure everything was starting to come back the way they used to.

Still some answers are kept hidden. Some secrets are about to unfold and change the course of the world's history. I still have one enemy left, Time itself.
