Gwen soon regretted the decision to come help hunt down the animals as she found herself half out a window with her dragon tail dangling down the building.

"Hurry up, Mr. Kowalski!" Gwen said irritated as he man clung to the end of Gwen's tail.  "You're like a foot above the ground."

"Don't worry I'll catch you," Newt said who was already on the ground as he placed his case on the ground.

Gwen snorted at the thought of Newt catching Mr. Kowalski, "I don't exactly find hanging from you tail is amusing," Mr. Kowalski added as sweat poured down his face as he let go of Gwen's tail to land on the sidewalk on his feet until he toppled over onto the pavement.

"Well done Mr. Kowalski," Newt said out of breath as he had attempted to catch him, but ended up on the ground himself.

"You two are ridiculous," Gwen rolled her eyes as she easily jumped from the window and landed on the pavement.

Newt helped Mr. Kowalski from the ground looking at Gwen as she straightened her hair out.

"Why was that so easy for you?" Mr. Kowalski complained.

Gwen didn't say anything as she lifted her dragon tail up in the air before wrapping it around her waist under her long coat.

"Oh," Mr. Kowalski said as he brushed himself off, "I keep forgetting."

"Okay where do we start?" Gwen asked ignoring his comment.

"We start by heading to Central Park, we have to catch the Erumpent before she gets hurt." Newt explained heading off to find the Erumpent.

However, Newt didn't get very far, "Err, Mr. Scamander, Central Park is in the opposite direction," Mr. Kowalski said.

Newt paused in his steps before quickly turning around and walking by Gwen and Mr. Kowalski, "Come on then," Mr. Kowalski caught up to Newt as Gwen chuckled at Newt's awkward behavior.

"So Mr. Kowalski were you able to get your bakery loan?" Newt asked.

"No," Mr. Kowalski said, "the bank thought it wasn't worth their time."

"So you like baking?" Gwen inquired.

"Oh yes, very much," he responded, "My grandmother loved it, her recipes were the best and I want to share them with everyone, baking makes me happy.  Plus, I'm dying in that canning factory.  What about you?" he asked Newt, "I bet a lot of people like you."

Newt shook his head, "No mostly I annoy people," he responded.

"Oh, what about you Miss. Presley?" Mr. Kowalski asked, "What do people think of you?"

Gwen frowned, "Like I said before, I mostly scare them, when I was in school many students shied away from me.  Only a select few students could stand me."

Mr. Kowalski paused looking up at a street name, "We want to turn here."

"Who were they?" he asked as they continued on their path.

"Newt here, was one of the first ones," Gwen answered smiling at Newt placing a hand on his shoulder.

"Are you two together?" Mr. Kowalski inquired as he watched Gwen's interactions with Mr. Scamander.

Gwen turned to Mr. Kowalski, "No," she shook her head, "Newt and I aren't together, it wouldn't-it couldn't." Gwen stumbled for words.
