i crawled over
to my omma and appa
who lied there
with their mouths hung open.

"omma, appa...
wake up..."
but neither
responded.

my fingers found their way
to their wrists
but there was no pulse
nor the sound of their breathing.

that moment made me realise
how one
could easily
take away what you treasure.

my tears flowed non stop
my breathing becoming heavier
as i reached over to my phone
to call the police.

omma and appa
two of my loved ones
yet two victims
of a killer.

he ran away
without leaving a trace
that i hope
the police could find.

the officer picked up
and i reported
the murder
to him.

moments later
police cars parked in front
the officers ran in
and took me away.

"tell us everything
from start to end
in maximum detail"
the officer said.

there went
all the details
of both my parents' death and the murderer
from my mouth.

"we would look into it
and inform you soon"
he tried to reassure me
but i turned away.

my dongsaeng, Changgu
better known as Yeo One
stepped through the doors
as his bag dropped.

he ran to me
"hyung !! hyung !!
what happened !!"
but i couldnt reply.

my only family left
was my dongsaeng
who was naive
and didnt take me seriously at times.
