Accidents Happen. *Josh Dun Fanfiction*

Two.

Joey rolled over in her bed. The irritating "ding" sound of her alarm caused her to rise out of bed reluctantly. She stretched her legs and considered breakfast despite it being one in the afternoon. It was her day off however she still had work to do. Work in the form of a small eight week old kitten that she couldn't bare to leave at the practice. The kitten was currently cuddled up in a small carrier at the end of her bed. She sighed before taking the small kitten out.
"Good morning, Tiny" she murmured against the kittens fur. The action reminded her of the pink haired man that entered her workplace the previous night.
"Your soon-to-be farther sure is attractive. You're a lucky cat" she whispered to the cat. After realising how crazy she sounded she placed the cat on her bed room floor and proceeded to get on with her day.

Joey was placing another small dish of food on her kitchen floor for the small kitten when her phone rang. She glanced at her phone confused that her work number was calling. As she answered the heard the receptionist, Anne, speaking in a hushed tone.
"Joey! There's a man here for you?!"
"What?!" Joey practically yelled. The thought of Josh creeping in her mind.
"He wants information on a kitten" the receptionist replied. Joey sighed. Slightly disappointed that he didn't want her.
"I'll be there soon Anne."

As she entered the practice in leggings paired oversized band shirt she took a deep breath. The thought of seeing the attractive man again made her nervous. As she entered the reception she saw Josh along with a beautiful blonde woman. She immediately became
jealous; not only of her beauty but also how close she was sat to Josh.
"Hey Joey!" Josh said standing up from his seat. "How's my kitten? I know you said to call in a few days but I couldn't wait" He said with a wide grin.
"He's fine. Actually well enough to leave with you today if you're ready for him" Joey replied with a underlying bitter tone.
"That's great. Josh has been talking about him since we woke up this morning" The blonde spoke up from her seat. Joey gave her best attempt at a smile and handed Josh the carrier containing the small kitten.
"He's all yours" She said bluntly as she walked away.
"Wait,Joey!" The pink haired man called to her. "I'll need to repay you for helping him".
"That won't be necessary" she replied with her back still stubbornly turned.
"Please? I'll take you out somewhere. If you like.." Josh trailed off avoiding looking at the woman in front of him.
Joey turned on her heels. A look a confusion on her face. She glanced at Josh and then towards the blonde still seated. She searched the blonde woman's crystal blue eyes for signs of jealously or upset. As she opened her mouth to question the two of them a door clicked open. The toilet door opened to revel a man taller than Josh with brown hair.
"Is this the little guy?" he asked bending down to look at the carrier in Josh's hand.
"Yeah! And this is Joey. She's the one who helped us out last night" Josh said to Tyler while signalling towards Joey who was still too shocked to have spoken.
"Joey,this is my best friends Tyler. He's the guy I was telling you about last night. And over there is his wife,Jenna"
'crap' Joey thought to herself. The jealously towards the stunning woman disappeared. She felt embarrassed about her fast judgement.
"It's great to meet you both" She still didn't answer Josh's question. She felt too embarrassed to mention it. Both Tyler and Jenna smiled at her once they saw her cheeks become pink.
"Tyler,Josh was just asking Joey out on a date. How about it Joey?" Jenna asked her. Jenna had always wanted Josh to find someone. She felt bad that he had to third wheel her and Tyler constantly. The question caused Josh to become nervous. His anxiety kicked in and he began expecting her to turn him down after she didn't answer the first time.
"Sure,why not..." Joey said avoiding eye contact with him. "I'll give you my number"
