10 Years Later
(Amber's POV)
April 14th
"So do you think Jake will ever ask you out" Lily asked.
"I don't know, it really doesn't seem like he likes me" I said.
"He so totally likes you, since we were little" Lily said.
"Ok whatever you say" I said.
I'm now 14 years old and has grown up so much. My hair is past my shoulders. Lily thinks that this year he's going to ask me out. But I don't think so, Jake has been a great buddy to me nothing more.
Walking to my locker, I found a note stuck to it. The note said.
Dear Amber,
I have a big crush
Talking about it makes me blush
But enough is enough
I'm tired of living this bluff
I want to end this friendship between us two
And start something new
I like you
Your eyes kick start my morning
Your smile lights up my life

"Who is it from" Lily asked.
"I don't know, it doesn't say" I said.
"I think it's from Jake" Lily said.
"Ok whatever you say" I said.
Grabbing my books me and Lily walked off to English. I sat by Jake where Lily sat by Wyatt.
"Hey" Jake said.
"Hi" I said.
"So did you got any love note taped to your locker" Jake asked.
"Yes, but how did you know that" I asked.
"I just know" Jake said.
"Was you the one that did it, Lily guessed it" I said.
"Yes, I just didn't know how to tell you when we were younger" he said.
"Is that why you always hang out with me" I said.
"Yep, so will you be my girlfriend Amber" Jake asked.
"Yes" I said.
I was so happy because now I can have a relationship like my parents. All I wanted was something special.
And I know that Jake is the one who can do it. I just wish that I knew sooner but I didn't. Jake and me forever.
We hung out almost anywhere,
with one another.
We were always
together,

When we came to
high school,
You stuck right by me.
So I finally did it.
So I now hold on to the memories.
You come to talk and to bring me joy
But I only give was a heartwarming smile.
I'm trying not to fall so fast,
All I was to do is say I Love You
I'm afraid if I give you my heart that you will break it and end me.
But I know you won't because you have been there.....there when I cried.
You always brought me happiness so I'm here to return it.
