When Prank Becomes Practical (ON HOLD)

Sophia's POV

I rang the bell and heard a bark instantly. "Down girl!" We heard a voice before the door opened. "Hey gu....." I couldn't understand further because I was pushed down with a force as soon as Lucas saw us and the next minute I was licked all over the face. "Hehehehe... I know. I missed you too sweetness." I ruffled Lisa's fur, as she continued to lick me. She is our cute little white husky. Been there for almost five years with us. "I'm sorry about that Sophia. She was being crazy since morning. I think she heard me talking to you yesterday." He said pulling her off me so that I could stand up. 

"Well in my case, it's a cute warm welcome." Dean chuckled. "Yeah, not to forget, wet." I said wiping my face. We walked in towards the living room to see Leo sprawled on the couch with his head hanging above the floor and legs on the back rest, playing 'Last of Us' on their PS3. Yeah, I know. Would you believe me if I said he could play it with his eyes closed? "Honestly Leo, won't you ever stop playing that junk?" I said walking over to the tv and pulled out the plug. "HEY!!!" He yelled at me and came running over to the tv. "I can't believe this! That was a whole new level and you..." He looked at me with disbelief while I just wanted to laugh. "I don't... understand why... do you want to play... that junk over and over again. Hahaha.." By now Lucas and Dean were laughing silently. Did I do something wrong? Cause, normally they would have spanked his head for that. "That was the Last of Us 2! And you..." He stood there looking at me, unable to speak further. 

Uh oh. Losing a game is like a rejected deal for him

I instantly felt bad for him. I didn't like his dejected face. And trust me when he gets upset he locks himself up in his room and starts to listen to crying love songs at full blast, which is not good. It was even worse than the late night parties. But upset Leo is never good. You'll just feel like hugging him and wish to turn back the clock cause he's too cute to have that face.

"I'm so sorry. I didn't know that. I..." I trailed and hugged him tight. He hugged me too and felt his shoulders shaking. I pulled back to see his face red and..... Laughing? And soon all the boys were laughing their asses off leaving me dumbstruck.  They fooled me! 

Ugh

"Look at your face! Haha....." One of them said. "What's going on?" I heard a female voice which I instantly recognized as, Jane, the twins' mom. "Jane!" I ran to her with a sad pout. 

Jane and Kyle Smith have been my second family ever since I met them. Kyle owns two luxury hotels and five casinos, which he passed down to Lucas and Leo. And Jane used to work as his secretary. Yeah, so you get the idea of their story pretty much.  Whenever my family had to attend a function or charity, I used to stay with them. Sometimes, the parents had to attend at the same time, so Lucas had to be in charge. No, not Dean.  Mom never trusted me with Dean or any of the house staff. So ended up with them.

"Lucas.." She scolded. "What? I didn't do it. He did." He pointed to his brother who was still laughing. 

"I couldn't .... I couldn't help it. It was a perfect chance..." And he started to laugh again. "Jane!!" I whined at her. She sighed heavily in response. "I'm tired of this. You scared the baby." 

They finally calmed down from their laughter and slopped down on the couch. Leo's hand reached for a can of coke, kept on the floor. An idea flashed right away, and I found myself walking over to him. I flipped the can, which caused him to choke on the liquid and getting his shirt wet. 

Now it was my turn to laugh at him. "Now we're equal. " I smirked.  

He just shook his head and gave me a side hug and a kiss on my forehead. "I'll be back." He said and went upstairs to his room. I sat down on the floor when Lisa came to me and slopped down on my my lap. 

We were here because Dean wanted to make sure everything was organized perfectly at the hotel. Leo and Lucas were in it too. As for me, I just came to visit Jane for the last time before I go. 

And also to see if they change anything so that I can give a  heads up to the team.

After a few hours of listening to their planning, we played and had lunch there. I chatted with Jane and Kyle, their father about college stuff, assignments, parties and friends. I played with Lisa for a while before I had to go. 

"Alright, we'll see you at next break. Be good" Kyle said hugging me sideways. I nodded at him.

"Stay safe, baby. Eat good, call us, don't play too much pranks..." 

"I just can't promise you that. Even mom accepts. The Queen has to work in order to keep everyone entertained." I cut her off, smiling wickedly. She rolled her eyes playfully at me. "Just stay out of trouble." She said and hugged me. 

Lisa seemed to understand what was happening and she jumped to knock me down. "I know, I'm going to miss you too. I'll come back soon, okay?" I whispered in her ear, patting her head. In return she raised her paw for me to shake. "I promise sweetness. Be naughty. Bye." I said, kissing her head for the last time.

"Sophia, I'm getting late!" Dean called out to me, standing beside my car with the twins. 

I walked over to them seeing them shake hands and patting Dean's back. Probably the luck.

"You'll be needing it bro." I smiled sweetly at him. He looked confused. "Don't give me that look. Everyone needs it." I patted his back. 

"She's right by the way." Leo said before turning to me. "So, I guess I'll say goodbye to you now. I won't be there to drop you off at the airport. I have to check on the casino. But Lucas is coming." 

"Oh.. Okay. I'll miss you Leo." Right, too much of hugging. But I guess it's ok when you're not going to see them for a year probably. 

I bid goodbye for the last time and pulled out of the drive way.
