It was just after dinner when Liam went back to their room. Warren, Ethan and he would be sharing the Moore’s guest room for the time being. Ethan was still downstairs talking to someone with his phone, and made Liam go up first. When Liam opened the door, he saw Warren sitting on the bed talking to Theola.

“How are you feeling? Any better?” Theola was sitting on the side of the bed.

“A little bit better. Thank you.” Warren said and tried to smile. But he was too weak to give a wide smile.

“You should have called when you found him. You shouldn’t have carried by yourself in the middle of that heavy rain.” Liam stayed outside and watched the two for a little bit longer. It was the first time that he saw Theola talking to someone with such care and concern.

“My mind went black when I saw him unconscious on the floor. I felt afraid. He was lying on the same floor as he was five years ago, and my mind went blank immediately after seeing that.” Liam could feel Warren’s sadness, his pain, and his regret.

Theola took Warren’s hand. “It’s alright. He is safe now. You should get better soon. Liam feels really bad seeing you like that.” It was true. Liam felt that it was his fault that Warren was sick that time. He felt really guilty.

“I would get better after a good night sleep. I’m sorry, I still couldn’t tell him everything.” Warren looked so apologetic to Theola. There was no need for him to say anything, Liam had remembered every single detail.

“It’s alright. I understand. I know you are just taking care of him. But, Warren, you should take care of yourself as well. Even if Liam is well, he wouldn’t be happy to see you unwell.” Theola stood up. But Warren pulled her and gave her a hug.

Liam stepped away from the door. Theola walked pass by him. Liam entered the room and looked blankly at Warren. “Do you like Theola?” He asked without thinking.

            “What are you talking about?”

“Nothing. It’s nothing.” Liam wouldn’t know what to do if Warren likes Theola. He wouldn’t want to hurt any of his cousins. Liam walked towards the side of the bed and lied on the mattress on the floor.

“I only see her as a friend.” Warren said in serious tone.

That night Liam had the same dream again; the one with the two men. The one with the younger one ended up getting killed by the older one. Liam thought he would never have that dream again now that he got his memories back. Why does that dream kept coming back to him? He felt like that dream was trying to say something to him.

The next day, Warren was feeling much better, he was out about when Liam went downstairs. “Oh, you’re just in time.” Adrian said when he saw Liam on the stairs.

Liam sat on the couch beside Warren. “Are you alright?” He asked.

“I’m fine.” Warren smiled his usual smile.

“The mayor’s son will celebrate his birthday tonight and the mayor invited the three of you.” Adrian said. “Do you want to go?”

“Sure, we’ll go.” Warren said. “Would you go too?” Warren asked Theola.

“To that bastard’s birthday? No way. I hate him more than your cousin.” Theola said bitterly.
