Liam was trying his best to hold back his laughter. Sure, he told Ethan to help Theola, but never did he think that his stubborn cousin would do it that way. Liam realized something that moment; Ethan was not merely cold or mean to other women, he simply was being loyal to his feelings. Liam thought that maybe the reason why Ethan always snobs and ignore women’s advances was that he had his eyes set on one woman alone.

With a pretty surprised expression on her face, Theola looked at Ethan. “Don’t lie to me. I know you two always argue, I know you two hates each other.” Wilson said with sureness and arrogance.

Ethan straightened his head and removed his arm around Theola’s shoulder only to tightly hold her hand. “Our love is a very unique kind of love that someone like you wouldn’t understand.” Ethan bragged in a very animated tone. “Right, baby?” He said looking at Theola.

Theola looked at Ethan and mouthed ‘baby?’ Ethan nudged Theola to answer. “Yes…” She sounded a bit confused. “…sweetheart.”

Ethan smiled happily at her words. His smile was very unusual, it was a happy and yet taunting smile.

Wilson stood up. He was looked pissed and defeated. He took the flowers and walked out of the house without saying anything.

Liam took that chance and followed Wilson out. “Have you been sleeping well?” He asked Wilson in a sardonic tone.

Wilson looked back at him. Wilson was looking at Liam with a mix of confusion and fright. “What?” He almost stuttered.

“They say that people who had a lot in their conscience couldn’t sleep well at night. So I am asking whether you have been sleeping well or not. Either you can’t sleep because of a very heavy conscience, or you have been sleeping well because you don’t have any conscience at all.” Liam looked at Wilson seriously. He said those words calmly but with great condemnation.

“You…” Wilson sounded and looked very afraid. Liam knew that Wilson was probably thinking that he could remember everything and that he was about to get him back.

“Don’t worry. Even if I don’t do anything, what is owed would be paid.” Liam smiled at Wilson then walked back in the house.

Liam could forget Wilson’s betrayal, but he would never forget the pain that Wilson had caused him and his family. He wasn’t seeking for revenge, all he wanted is for the truth to come out and Wilson be judged accordingly. But he would never reveal anything himself. He would make someone else find the truth, that way Wilson would be seen by others for who he truly is.

When Liam went back in, Adrian was hurrying to go to work as he talked to Theola and Ethan, but when they saw Liam they all got silent. “I’ll have to go. Wa… he is waiting. Have a nice day.” Adrian tapped Liam’s shoulder and then left.

For eight Adrian and his late wife became his parents, so Liam couldn’t help but feel guilty for not telling him the truth that he could remember everything. How Adrian cared for him like a real son, how Adrian protected him for eight years, Liam wanted to say that he remembers but it was not the right time yet. Liam decided to hide the truth until he finishes his quest, that way, Ethan and Warren, even Adrian and Theola, wouldn’t get too worried about him.

“So, what do the new couple plans to do the whole day?” Liam asked. Theola and Ethan were both quiet, they were sitting on opposite chairs.
