The class clapped and Alya bowed. Kit got up to hug Bianca and whisper something in her ear. Alya saw Bianca's eyes light up and she giggled with what Kit had told her. Alya was happy to see that even after all that happened they could all three still be friends. It made Biaca happy that Kit had just told her that she was sorry, and could tell Alya was totally in love.

After school the three girls went over to Carly's house. Alya had never met her before but Kit and Bianca had worked with her on the project where they had to write a dance song. On the way there Bianca and Kit filled Alya in on everything she needed to know about Carly. The first thing they said was that Carly did not like to be touched unless she knew the person very well. That she tugs on her ear when she's upset so if Alya noticed that to immediately stop talking and apologize. They also told her that Carly was completely straight so she didn't have to worry about her getting too attached to Bianca.

When they got to her house Alya said hi and introduced herself. She was surprised when Carly reached out and hugged her.

"I have heard so much about you." Carly stated. Carly Catto had autistic spectrum disorder so it was a little bit harder for her to communicate her feelings for people. "You seem awesome, I hope you actually are." Carly didn't mean for it to sound rude but Alya kind of took it that way. Carly started tugging on her ear and hiccuping, "I'm sorry, I didn't mean that how it sounded."

"It's okay C, I completely understand. When I was six years old I was diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome so I get the struggle."

"It sucks doesn't it." Carly said.

"Yeah."

Kit and Bianca sat down in Carly's room while her and Alya talked. They were talking for hours before Kit and Bianca finally came out of Carly's room and said they wanted to watch a movie. When they sat down Carly sat in Alya's lap since there wasn't enough room on the couch for all four of them, even though Bianca knew there was nothing to worry about she couldn't help but get a little bit jealous.

Soon Bianca realized she wasn't loosing her girlfriend, but she was loosing her best friend. Carly just understood what Alya was going through better than Bianca ever had. When the movie ended Alya looked at Kit and Bianca and asked them to leave the room for a minute because there was something she had to tell Carly. Not even Bianca knew about Alya's fake leg, but it was hurting where her leg had been amputated and she needed someone to help her change the padding on it.

"I need to show you something, cause I need help, please don't freak out." Alya always wore shorts under her pants in case something like this happened and she had to take her leg off. She took off her longer pair of pants so she was just wearing shorts revealing the fake leg all the way up to the stump. "I need you to go over to my book bag and grab the package of bandages out of the front pocket." Alya said looking up at Carly. Carly got up and gave Alya the bandages out of her book bag.

"What happened?" Carly asked as Alya removed her leg and changed the bandages she had wrapped around her stump. Alya thought or a minute before telling Carly.

"I'll talk to you when Kit leaves. Bianca already knows part of the story, I'm scared she won't love me anymore if she knew about my leg. Promise you won't tell them Cee?" Alya looked up at Carly with tears in her eyes. She already knew Carly would never tell, but she knew what she was thinking.

"Alya, you know that girl is completely and totally insane about you, nothing could change that, especially not something like your leg, but I do promise I won't tell her." Carly sat down and started rocking back and forth. A coping mechanism she developed over the years. Alya put her leg back on and slid back into her long pants.

"Kit, Bianca, you can come back now." Alya said.

When Bianca got back into the room she told them Kit had decided to leave already, so Alya started the story.

"There's something I need to tell you Bianca."

"Anything Alya, you can tell me anything."

Alya looked at Carly and she nodded. "It's okay sweety, you can tell her."

So Alya rolled up her pants and showed Bianca the leg she had been hiding this whole time.

"When my bio dad shot me, it got infected, and my knee was too shattered. So they had to cut it off. I'm sorry I didn't tell you, I just... well... I didn't want to scare you."

"I'm not scared baby. I love you, no matter what."
