Alya ran fast. The cops were going to be at Bianca's house any minute and she could not be there when they arrived. She didn't want to go home either, what if Bianca tells the cops the truth? The first place they would look would be her house. So she went to the one place that nobody would suspect her to go. Her last foster home.

Today isn't the first time Alya has had to use a gun. When she was in the fifth grade she finally got sick of her abusive family and shot everyone. After being in Juvenile Detention for a year she was placed in foster care. Her first family was nice, they honestly loved her, but they had to let her go because they already had kids with special needs. The second home was okay, but she could tell they didn't really love her, everybody was busy worrying about her past. The last home, the place she's headed to, was the worst. This house is the reason she was so scared for Bianca.

The people in this home hated her, they beat her and choked her. They would do anything to get rid of her but the government was giving them their checks so they put up with her. The dad beat her with the handle of a gun to mock her for having to shoot her bio family. The brother through bullets in her bed. The mom was okay, but she just didn't care. Then their was Sarah, Alya's foster sister.

Sarah got her through the whole time she was there. Sarah was the girl who made her realize she was gay. She was sweet and caring. Sarah loved Alya and Alya loved her. But neither of them were sad when she got moved to her new home with the Kendricks.

"Alya you can't go back there." Alya heard Bianca's voice behind her.
"How did you know where I was going?" Alya asked bewildered.
"You told me when you left my house."
Bianca said looking surprised. "I won't tell about what you did. You were just trying to protect me. And I love you. Honestly I've thought about taking that gun several times."
Bianca walked up to Alya.
"I love you Alya."
Alya just stared at her. It was true. She liked Kit. And the fact that she was thinking about her and not Bianca in this moment meant she had to dump Bianca. But that would be a real jerk move.
"I...Bianca...I um...I'm so sorry. I don't love you...I know I said it but...I just don't. I'm so sorry that I had to put you through that with your dad. After this I don't blame you if you tell the cops everything. I...I have to break up with you."
