The pants he gave me were three sizes too big, so I had to pull the string really tight to get the pants to stay up. I figured that if I couldn't get the pants to stay up with the string I'd just roll the pants over three, four times. The ride to my place was also silent, accept for the occasional direction I threw in to let him know where he was going, everything else was quite. I guess like dinner we didn't have anything to say. By the time we got to my house I was all nerves. Even though the man had already seen more of me than a stranger should, there was just something about him going into my house. The only man that has ever been in my house was Nick and we all know how that turned out. Oh well it was now or never. I was about to get out of the car but Xaiven was around the car on my side before I even had my hand on the door, opening it and letting me out. Such a gentleman.

"Thanks." I said.

"Sure. So this is your house?"

"Yep all mine. At least now it is."

"Big house for such a little lady."

"Well in a few more months I will be a big woman to fit my big house," I said with my voice dripping with sarcasm.

"I'm sure you would look just as lovely."

I looked at him, because I wanted to see that smile on his face like the last time to let me know he was joking. But when I looked at him, the look on his face was far from joking. It was actually kinda scary. He looked very serious, sincere maybe. I didn't know but I was getting strange feeling and I didn't want any part of it.

"Well welcome to my home," I said letting us through the front door.

"Nice place you got here."

"Thanks. You know I am fine now that I am home. You could go and I could call someone over here to be with me." I knew this wasn't going to go over well, but hell who did he think he was. I wanted to stay in my house, on my own, away from all the stress and drama of crazy men. I think I had enough today.

"And who are you going to call?" He asked like he knew I was lying. Hell I knew I was lying, but he didn't need to know that.

"Someone I work with."

"Right. Now can you tell me the truth or did you forget you told the doctor that all of your friends lived far away."

I just stood there and looked at him. Why did he actually have to listen to me and remember the things I had to say? Nick never did, but I guess I should be grateful a man was paying any attention to me since Nick was notorious for not doing it. It was OK to a point. I was just really annoyed that he thought he had any stake to what I did. Hell I knew what I told the doctor and I knew what I was planning on doing also. Patience running thin I looked at him and said, "Look I don't know you and I just want to stay home OK. Technically you are keeping me against my will and it is sort of kidnapping."

"Well if you want to get technical I am not keeping you against your will, but you have to be under a watchful eye like the doctor said. Now if you don't want to stay with me, and you don't want me to stay with you then let me know right now," he said with his hands in his pockets. The way he was standing was letting me know that he meant business.

Well that was fine with me because I meant business too. I stood up tall to my full height of five-foot-seven, put my hands on my hip and said, "I don't want you here, and I don't want to stay with you."

"Fine."

"Fine?"

"Yea fine lets go," he said taking my arm, none too gently.
