                                                     3  months later.................

Lonnie and Lynn were four and a half months old today and I was happy about the upcoming trip. Just a few weeks ago they got all of their shots and were declared a clean bill of health for flying. I was over the moon. I was in the mall once again shopping for the trip when I came across the jewelry store that I got Lynn's ID bracelet made. I knew I had to get Lonnie one made too. I stepped into the store and was greeted by the same man I was last time.

"Ah, I see you are back," he said.

"Yes sir I am. I first wanted to thank you for the bracelet for my baby girl, but now I need another one."

"Yes I can see that," he said pointing to my stroller with my twins in it.

"Yeah, and you can imagine my surprise when I gave birth to twins and not one child."

"This is Kai-Lonnie Jessiah, and you know Kai-Lynn Tessa."

"Oh those are just two of the most adorable babies I've ever seen. Of course they do take after their mother," the man said. We talked for a little bit and he gushed some more over the twins and then I was off to do some final shopping.

We had a great time at mall. I didn't know it was possible for so many people to gush over babies. I am a proud mother and I was very happy, but my goodness they were getting on my nerves. It was like someone was stopping me every few feet to complement on the "adorable" twins and the "glowing" mother. Those people just wore me out something crazy. I mean just give it a rest already. I got the twins into the card and we were on our way home. They loved riding and they went to sleep every time. That was a good thing I guess because they slept like a rock so getting them into the house after I went shopping was great because I took then in the house and they were sleep so I put them down and then went to go get the rest of the things out of the car.

That night when I put the twins down after feeding them I started packing our things. I decided to take the twins to Greece because it was some place I always wanted to visit but I never got the chance to when I started to work at the magazine. Then I got with Nick and all hell just broke loose. Speaking of which, I've only seen Nick once since the babies were born. Not from the lack of trying on his part that is. He tried to come over and see them once I got out of the hospital because he was put on the "Do not admit" list when I was in the hospital. After the whole episode with him and Xaiven at the hospital and the whole ripping out my stitches the doctor didn't want to take that chance again. He tried to come see me at home but I think my home nurse was worse than those at the hospital. She hit him with a bat, and called him scum, and that was the nicest thing she called him. He never came back after that. I however never saw Xaiven again after that day in the hospital. I was happy and sad. I didn't really know what to feel about him sometimes. I did however get in the mail the next day, two pure white Alaskan Huskies with the tags "Ice" and "Snow", then there was the charm bracelet with a charm for each child and the two pups. In the bottom of the box was a simple note that read:

Karri

I'm not sure if you want to see me and I didn't want to upset the new mother. These are gifts for the twins and please don't send them back. I enjoyed the time we spent together even if you didn't. If you ever need anything you know my number and where I live.

Xaiven

I didn't even realize I was crying by the time I got finish reading the short note from Xaiven. He was a really sweet man even though I knew we would never be well together. I knew that we didn't part on the best of terms, but I was just so stressed out that day and it was like both he and Nick were double teaming me or something.
