Well, you'll never believe this but.... as of today, we have reached my due date, no issues what so ever, not once did I slip back in and Bailey was perfectly health and ready to come out! She just needed a little encouragement. "Babe" Narvel smiled excitedly, we were laying in bed.
"Hmmm?" I said still in my sleep
He hovered over me. "I think I know how to get Bailey out" he smiled
"Ooh how?!" I said
"So your ow that Doritos commercial? Where they have an ultrasound and the baby follows the chip, when the mom hits it out of hand, the baby started labor for the mom..... what if we did that....?" He asked
"That's a great idea!!" I smiled and giggled
"I'll go get the Doritos!" He said jumping out of bed
I giggled
He got up and got them. He came back and he tried it for a good half hour.
"Baby I don't think k it's working." I said
He looked down and sighed. "Nothing I do works." He sHd sadly and got out of bed.
"Baby that's not true." I said and held him close
"Yes it is." He sighed, he really wanted that to work. "What about if I give you a foot rub? They say you can't do that when you are pregnant because it will induce labor..... wanna try?" He asked
"That sounds really nice." I smiled
He smiled and nodded
He started to rub my feet
I closed my eyes and smiled
"They feels really good." I smiled with my eyes closed
"I'm glad" he smiled
"Theres also another thing we haven't tried yet." I said
"Babe.... I don't think that's a good idea, I know what you are thinking." He said
"Why not? We can't do it until six weeks after she's born." I said
"That's my point. I don't want to do it." He said
I looked down sadly
He stopped rubbing my feet and stood up
"Do you not love me anymore?" I whimpered
"Reba. You are 9months pregnant. It's just not fun anymore." He said
"Oh." I said sadly
He got up and walked to the bathroom, he seemed stressed
I started crying to my self
He splashed some water on his face and came out.
I didn't look at him
"Let's do it." He said
"No you don't want to." I said
"Yes I do." He said
"No you don't." I said
He just shook his head and walked downstairs mumbling about how he did but I was too stubborn
"Babe?" I grabbed his hand
"What." He said
"You don't want to have sex with me so..." he said
"Of course I want to have sex with you." I said
"Then stop being stubborn for one minute!" He said
"Okay." I nodded
"Go get dressed" he winked
I giggled and slowly got out of bed
He lit some candles and got us both in the mood
I just got into a robe and tied it
He was waited by and laying on the bed
I smiled and climbed on top of him
"You are so beautiful" he smiled
"Thanks handsome." I smiled
"How could you want me right now?" I giggled as he started to kiss my neck as we laid on the couch. "You are my wife, you turn me on." He smiled. "I bet I can make that go away." Her smile fell as they both began to get in the mood. "There is nothing you can say that will-" he was cut of by me raising off the bed a little bit and placing a hand on my belly. "My water just broke." I said. "Yup." He said "yeah" I said
I climbed off of him and held my belly
"Breath sweetheart" he soothed rubbing my back and moving me to the edge of the bed.
"She's coming." I smiled
"She's coming.... and she's right on schedule." He smiled looking down at me and kissing my forehead.
"I love you." I smiled
"I love you" he smiled, we had to get going. Because of my condition the doctor wanted me there asap after my water broke. Narvel seemed very calm because he knew I didn't need to be stressed and worked up. "Alright baby, where is your hospital bag? And Baileys hospital bag?" He asked calmly
"They are both in the nursery." I said putting on a pair of flip flops
He nodded, he got into a pair of shorts and a tee shirt along with sandals. He helped me get dressed and then he went and got our bags. He grabbed me a few pillows for the car ride to the hospital for lots of reasons. He put it all in the car and then he came to our room which we moved to the main floor after I couldn't see the stairs when I was 5 months pregnant. He helped me out to the car and helped me in.
"You ready to meet Bailey?" I smiled and rubbed my belly
"I'm ready if you are" he smiled placing his hand on my belly after he started the car. You could just tell that there was so much rushing through his head about this's
"I love you." I said holding his hand on my belly
"I love you... both of you, so much" he said looking over at me as we got on the road
I smiled and kissed his hand
He smiled and rubbed my belly
We drove to the hospital
I was starting to get stronger contractions and they were lasting longer
"Owch." I cringed
"You are doing so good baby, keep breathing" he soothed
I nodded
When we got to the hospital as we were walking in Abigail was walking out she was looking down at her feet and she was crying.
"Abigail? What's wrong?" I asked
She looked up and saw us, she wiped her eyes fast and shook the tears away. "Nothing, what are you guys doing here?" She smiled
"My water just broke, is everything okay?" I asked
"Your daughter is on the way! Let's get you inside." She said coming over to help me.
"I'm okay, what's going on?" I asked
She looked away and looked back. "I just went for my 12 week ultrasound" she said
"Is everything okay?" I asked
She shook her head no and looked back at me. "So... let's get you inside... I mean you are in labor" she tried to smile
"I wanna make sure your okay." I said
"When they turned the machine on... they searched and they searched and they searched..... but there was no heartbeat. It's fine, what does a 16 year old girl need a baby for." She said
"I'm so so sorry." I said sadly
