Pets (Rant)

Okay so pets. We all love them, right? But I have this thing where like, whenever I get super attached to a pet it dies. Like I had this cat for two years; he was a Siamese named Sue. I was like seriously attached to Sue (he was such a cool cat, Rip in peace) and then one morning he just randomly couldn't walk. Like, he could walk but his hind legs just dragged on the ground and I was getting ready for school when I noticed this and I was like "Hey mom, I think Sue hurt his legs or something." (Keep in mind I was like 10) and my mom was like "Okay, put your shoes on and go to school." So I did. But little did I know, that was the last time I would ever see Sue because apparently he got a blood clot and died. And the worst thing is, my mom and former step dad (yeaaah divorce) went to the vet to see him before he died but I was at school .-.

So literally the last memory I have of this cat was my mom rushing me off to school and Sue was at the top of the stairs watching me leave. Moving on....

Like I said earlier, every pet I get attached to dies. But every pet I never get attached to lives like forever.

So in fourth grade, we had a project where we had lizards as "class pets". But we couldn't keep them in the classroom for reasons I can't remember. So I was like "hEY MY PARENTS WOULD TOTALLY LET ME HAVE ONE" and yay, I got a lizard. As an unimaginative 9 year old, the only thing I knew about lizards was there was one on the Geico commercial. So guess what I named my lizard? That's right. Geico Jr.

Now this lizard.

This ridiculous lizard.

I DON'T EVEN KNOW ITS DEFINITIVE GENDER

I GOT IT IN FOURTH GRADE

ITS STILL ALIVE TODAY
