"Maddy!" I shouted as loud as I could. I ran as fast as I could towards her but she was lay there so still. lifeless. I looked to my side and there was a man, dressed all in black with a tranquilizer gun, aimed at me. I turned my eyes into a golden yellow colour in a desperate attempt scare him away. But instead he continued to aim the gun at me so just before that moment that he shoots, I make a run for it. I didn't know what to do. save Maddy or save myself? I ran as fast as I could to Maddy and picked her up in my arms before running of deep within the forest. I heard several failed attempts to hit me with the tranquilizer gun, let's just say, I was lucky to make it out of there alive.

"stop. do you hear me? stop" I looked behind me to see doctor whitewood running after me but my speed was no match for her. I looked back in front of me and continued to run through the forest, dodging trees and nearly slipping over into the soggy autumn leaves, scattered all over the muddy ground. Once I was convinced I had lost them, I kneeled down and gently placed Maddys wolf form on the ground in front of me. she was still so lifeless. laying there so still. I didn't know what to do. snap! I heard behind me. I took in a deep breath to take in any scent I could. a human. doctor whitewood? one of her minions? snap! I had no idea what to do. either way I was trapped. then there was a sharp stabbing pain in my back. I had been tranquilized. the pain was almost unbearable but still, I once again picked up Maddy in my arms and began to run through the first. I all of a sudden began to feel very sleepy. so, so sleepy. I practically had no energy left but i had to keep running to keep maddy safe and out of danger. my eyesight began to go blurry. I could barely see where I was going but I couldn't just stop. I'd risk getting caught. I just kept running and running then I slipped and everything went black. I held onto Maddy so tight as I was falling, falling, falling.
