Closing In (Wolfblood Fanfic)

The reveal

(Jana's POV) 

i could hear the key go into the steal door and unlock it and in a split second it felt as if my heart was going to beat its way out of my chest. the pressure... it was to much to handle. i breathed in a huge amount of air before holding my breath and closing my eyes tightly for in a matter of 3 seconds someone would be revealed and we had no idea who it would be. i began to count down in my head and once i got to 1 i would open my eyes. 3........... 2................... 1.............................................................. 0. i exhaled the air that i had earlier breathed in and opened my eyes to reveal maddys mum and dad standing at the bottom of the few stairs looking around. i took a step out to reveal myself before calmly speaking "its okay maddy, its just your mom and dad" suddenly maddy lept out from her hiding place closely followed by a happy looking Rhydian.

"Mam! Dad!" Maddy shouted as she ran towards them to give them a really big hug... mostly of re leaf.. i think. im really not good with this kind of thing, i felt like i was on my own in the wild, nobody truly understood me. thats what i missed about Rhydian, he can understand me and see where im coming from but when he is with maddy its like he switches off the light and can no longer see me, or like he has got a massive eraser and rubbed me out from existence. 

(Maddys POV)

it was such a releaf to see Mam and Dad. i was almost certain that we were done fore. it was terrifying waiting to see whos face was on the other side of that door. the happiness was building up inside of me. i hadn't seen me parents since i ran off. even though i was happy enough to be with Rhydian, it was even better to see me parents.
