Troublesome trio

(Rhydians POV)

I could feel my heart pounding hard against my chest as I looked round at what was left of the campsite. was this the same place I used to stay? I asked in my mind. The atmosphere fell silent and nobody was around. I took in a deep breath, my chest lifting up as the air filled my lungs. I could smell someone. it was a wolfblood and the trail led round to the pack leaders tent. alric? I thought. but how could it have been alric?

"mads. the far tent over there. there's still someone in it." I told her trying my make my voice as quiet as possible without over exaggerating a whisper. she looked up at me and suddenly her skin went pale, like an albino. she softly nudged me with her shoulder as if urging me to go. I took a few weary steps forward before looking back at Maddy. she just looked at me with a cute smile spread across her face that I suddenly had the urge to kiss. instead I just shook my head and continued to take weary steps towards the far tent. the closer I got, the more I started to shake. the truth is, I was terrified but I couldn't let that onto Maddy. my body was trembling like an earthquake by the time I had only a few more steps to go. I took a deep breath in and out, preparing myself for the very worst. I crouched down outside the tent before quickly lifting up the flap. "Jana?"

"oh my god, rhydian! I thought they came back for me. I thought I was going to die" she told me. she threw herself into my arms, holding onto me so tightly. only god knows what she has been through, but it must have been terrible. I let a soft sigh slip from my lips looking over at maddy. her face was enough to turn milk sour. the look of envy and rage almost turned her green.

"come on Jana. we can stick together we will be safer as a trio. were going to have to go to the village and see if anyone has managed to escape and gone back. then to doctor whitewoods lab. maybe its linked" I looked over at Maddy but she didn't look like she was listening to a word I was saying. she was more interested in giving Jana the evils. the type of evils that turned your stomach and made your blood run cold. I gave Jana a hand to her feet but she didn't seem very stable. I gave her a hand to walk over to Maddy and I could feel her body shaking against mine.

(Jana's POV)

I could barely stand anymore. my legs were just aching but I didn't understand why. I haven't done any running since yesterday when we went hunting. even then we didnt need to go that far. my entire body was trembling. ever time I heard something I would hold onto rhydian a little tighter. there was just something about him that made me feel safe. once we got over to maddy i took one look at her face and i twas enough to make my blood run cold and turned my stomach. i looked down at my feet afraid of what she would do. While i was with her and rhydian i didn't feel like the leader anymore. it was like maddy was the alpha all over again. okay, so it's good to have a break but i'm used to been the leader now. i suppose i just spent to much time in the wild. it would be good to have a break. We began to walk through the forest at a fast pace. i could barely even feel my legs so it was really difficult for me.

"so, Jana." said Rhydian trying to break the silence that seemed to take over. there was all of a sudden awkwardness that seemed to fill the atmosphere. Maddy seemed to carry on walking forwards as fast as she could.

"we havn't got time to talk. the sooner we get there the better!" Maddy shouted back at us before continuing to walk. me and Rhydian looked at each other before looking forwards and continuing to walk after maddy. she seemed to continue to walk fast. she was practically racing through the forest but i could barely keep up with her. Once we made it into the village, a feeling of sense came into my heart. it felt like i was home again. it felt like the first time i came here with Rhydian. i looked around me with curiosity building up inside before running off to take a look at things.

(Maddy's POV)

''what is she doing?'' i asked looking over at her. i looked up at Rhydian and he was just looking at her laughing as she looked at a pair of shoes in amazment. i let a sigh of dissapointment slip from my lips before charching over to her. i took the shoes out of her hand and grabbed her wrist to pull her away.

''maddy!" Rhydian shouted after us but i didn't even look back. i just carried on walking dragging jana with me. Rhydian finally caught up with us and it sounded like he was trying to start an argument. ''what did you do that for Maddy? she was just having a bit of fun." he stated to me

"we need to go and find the pack okay? we can't do that if jana is 'having fun' now can we?'' Jana began to snarled and her eyes flashed a golden yellow colour. she all of a sudden stopped in her tracks and looked to her side.

''meat'' she growled. people began to scream and run in the opposite direction. were we busted?
