I die a little more inside

My vision is blurry,I squint my eyes and it takes a couple of minutes to adjust to the bright lights.A annoying beeping sound next to me.I look around to see I'm in a hospital bed,a heart monitor to my left.My heart pounds as I have a couple of wires attached to my body.

I touch my chin as a sharp pain runs through it.Silence fills the room,most of the people are asleep in the hospital beds.I watch as the time ticks,it's 3pm in the afternoon.Why am I even here.

My heart skips a beat as I remember events of earlier flood back.

"Oh God Elliot,I hope he's okay"I whisper to myself

I slowly sit myself up right on the bed and my head goes dizzy as the room begins to spin.I hold my head still and blink a couple of times,before the room goes back to normal.I kick my legs round the edge of the bed and stand up,soon noticing I'm in a hospital gown.

I begin to walk round the edge of the bed when a loud beeping noise sounds.My heart pounds as I panic and sit back down on the bed.

I close my eyes and hold my head as I wait for the beeping to stop.I jump when a hand touches my arm,snapping my eyes open I look at the lady in front of me.

"Hi Ronnie,how are you feeling?" She questions thankfully shutting the beeping up.

"Hi,yeah much better.Slightly dizzy but not too bad" I announce

"Okay gal to hear that,can I help you with anything?" She asks

"Erm yeah do you have a Luke Scots or Elliot Colin's emitted to this hospital?" I question

"Sure one second,I'll go check" She disappears,clipboard in her hand.

A couple of moments later,she returns.

"No there isn't I'm afraid" She politely smiles

"Oh" Is all I can reply

"Anything else I can help you with?" She asks

"Erm yeah,how long will I be in here for?" I ask

"Well considering you look pretty well.If the dizziness subsides,you should be God to leave at lunchtime" She informs me

"Okay great" I smile

"Okay,here's some pain killers.Can you take both please,and here's a juice to water them down" She hands me both

I take them both at the same time and after a couple of gulps the tablets disappear.

"Lovely Thankyou,if you need the loo or anything ring this buzzer" She informs me pointing to it.

"Okay Thankyou" I reply before she exits the room

I buzz the button to be helped to the bathroom,I actually look dreadful.Like a criminal really.Grey sunken in eyes,a pale face and a large patch on my chin.

I hope Elliot's okay.All I remember is dialling the police stations number,if Luke and Elliot aren't in here,they must be at the station.This is all my fault,I dragged Elliot into this.If I hadn't have agreed for him to tutor me,none of this would have happened.I hope Luke wouldn't come back from his gigs.

I have now worked out that the wires connected to me are fluids are being continuously pumped into my body and I am also connected to heart monitor.Its 5pm now and that beeping noise is already getting on my nervous.I can't wait to get out of here,it's frustrating because I have to buzz the button every time I want to use the bathroom,as the nurses have to detach the wires from me.I have a few picture holes in my arm,which I can only assume are blood tests.I still have a bad headache.
