I stumble back as two arms wraps around me.Orange hair catches my vision,I cough as the girls hold is too tight.

"Oh sorry" She sighs removing her arms from me

"Hayley?" I question

I glance over to the officer and back to Hayley, letting out a sigh.Stepping away from her and folding my arms for comfort.

"Ronnie Im sorry" She begins

"Sorry" I scoff

"Sorry for what?Sorry for egging my house?Sorry for ditching me?Sorry for watching me be beat up?Sorry for putting my mums life in danger?Which one?" I question

"Ronnie I..." She stutters and I watch as he lip quivers.

"Don't" I growl

"Ladies can I just interrupt" The officer speaks

"Your friend here actually came and confessed everything, she informed us who lit the fire" He mentions

"You..you were...you were part of this?" I spit

"Ronnie please,I just watched honest" She grabs a hold of my arm

"Don't touch me" I snatch my arm out of her grip

Tears begin to resurface again and I hold them back as best as I can as I watch tears fall from Hayley's eyes.

"May I suggest you take a seat and talk this through?" The officer mentions

"Fine" I huff dragging the chair across the floor and slumping in it.

Hayley shortly follows and sits down, taking her lip ring between her teeth. She runs her fingers through her hair and looks away for a moment,my eyes catch the dark bruises on her wrist.

"Why haven't you told the police about Dexter beating you?Why do you protect him all the time?" I question

She breaths out deeply and her sorry looking eyes focus on mine.

"This isn't about me Ronnie" She croaks

"Hayley why do you protect him?" I demand

"Because....he ..He threatened to kill me,if I told anyone " She finally comments tears pooling on her eyes as she looks at me.

"So why are you here then?" I question

"Because I need help,I need to get away from him" She huffs

I watch the police office as he writes detailed notes down on his note pad.

"So Dexter lit the fire then?" I press

"Yes" She sighs

"He lit the match and posted it through your letter box.I had nothing to do with it I swear" She confesses

I roll my eyes and sit there watching her

"Where is Dexter now Hayley?" The officer crouches down next to her.

Silence fills the room for a moment before she speaks

She scribbles down an address on a piece of paper and hand it to him.

"Thankyou Hayley,we'll get right on that" He says taking the paper and passing it through the door to another officer.

"So if my mums car was home, why did you let him do it?" I ask

"Asif I could stop him,I knew it was wrong but I didn't know what to do,I was scared" She cries

I sigh and watch her sob.
