(Lmao hey, it's been a few years. Sadly, y'all ain't getting quality shit yet because I'm a lazy bastard. So take this small paragraph or two as a peace treaty)

Sidearms moved across the room to grab the nearest book in order to keep himself occupied while Shadow fixed his key board. It had been a fairly easy day on the two, gloomy and giving off lazy vibes, to which they both surrendered to. It had rained the past few days, the smell thick and enchanting as it sifted through the open screen door. Candles had been placed over the room; all giving off the comforting smell of lavender, Shadow's signature smell that Sidearms has always loved. A calming cold breeze passed from around the house, shushing the candles but there chatter hadn't ceased, still burning quite strongly. No, this wasn't new. In fact, this happened more often then anyone would think. Shadow and Side would sit around the living room, reading and listening to the heavy rain and taking in the smell of precious lavender. Another reason Sidearms loved the candles, they were purple, his favorite color. He knew when they first started dating, Shadow would order tons because he had heard the smell reminded him of home, placing them all over the place to please Sidearms a little bit further. That always made him giggle. It was great that Shadow was a hopeless romantic, adorable in its own odd way. The constant joking insults where always followed by small kisses on the hand or on his face. It was incredibly embarrassing when Shadow first did that in front of their friends, but everyone figured they have to get use to seeing it know.

Shadow fiddled with the black, white and yellow keyboard more before turning around and sitting on the couch next to Sidearms. Gently, he took the book from Sidearms and placed it on the cushion beside him and moved Sidearms so that he was sitting in Shadow's lap. Sidearms automatically wrapped his arms around Shadows neck and nuzzled Shadow, giggling at Shadow's muffled protest. He raised his head and connected their lips in a lazy, yet caring kiss. Once they parted, they slowly laid down on the couch and talked about up coming advents and projects, arms still wrapped around each other. They were both safe, loved and tired.
