Two Sides

She doesn't want to lead him on,
But she can't help being sweet to him.
For her, all she did was normal.
She would cook for him, her greatest recipes,
He would complement it, and then later insult it.
They would fight, but laugh about it afterwards.
She would ask him what dress would be better,
And she would always be there to fix his tie.
She always asks him to accompany her,
For she feels safe whenever he's around.
She likes to make fun of him,
But apologizes when she gets too far.
She likes to sing with him,
And sometimes even dance with him.
She doesn't want to lead him on,
For she is too afraid of falling in love,
That he might not feel the same.
So she didn't tell him how she feels,
Even if it's just three words.

He enjoys travelling with her,
And sing and dance under the stars,
Being with her completes his very existence,
He doesn't want to lead her on,
For he is too afraid of falling in love,
That she might not feel the same.
So he didn't tell her how he feels,
Even if it's just eight letters.
