Melody Treble: The Doctors Daughter

Chapter 5 Melody POV

I laid on my bed and got an idea. Pulled out a box from under my bed. It was full of paints, brushes, sponges, antiquing stuff and other paint art supplies. I then looked for the small ladder that I have had for years. Then I pull out a pallet. Two hours later I had finished. My ceiling looked like space. It was painted to look exactly like a galaxy. I had painted it so well that it looked like the real thing and like I could jump fly up and out into space. I laid on my bed admiring my work. I had even put constellations on it. Then I fell asleep counting the stars. Then then next morning I woke up. It was my birthday. I was so excited. I jumped out of bed and got dressed not realizing it was only 3am. I ran to the control room expecting my dad to be up. When I got there he wasn't there.
   "Oi, where could he be", I said to myself. I ran down to the library. He wasn't there either. I ran all around the TARDIS looking for him. Then as I shut the door.
   "Oi, where on the TARDIS could he be", I said. Then I turned around and walked into something.
   "Maybe he was sleeping in his room until he thought he heard a stampede of elephants in his TARDIS", my dad said looking down at me, "because it is only 3am."
   "Oh oops", I said hugging him, "sorry."
   "It is fine, Melody", he said, "but what has you up and running at 3am anyway?"
   "It's my birthday", I said excited.
   "Well then we will have to find some way to celebrate it today", he said. Then Clara came.
   "Come on let's go back to bed", she said tugging my dad's arm. I wanted to say something but I kept my mouth shut.
   "You should get back to bed too", he said to me.
   "Ok", I sighed. Then I made my way back to bed and fell asleep. Then I had a terrible dream.
