Lockwood's POV
I'm the kind of person that gets up as soon as they realize that they're up. Today was no exception, even though I'm a 5 year old again. I jump up and my insides twist. I know that George moves in his sleep, but that did not prepare me for this. This hit me with the biggest pang of jealousy I have had in a long time. George was right next to Lucy and holding on to her. She was holding him back. But, her expression was hurt. She had tears running down her face. I run to them and, rather roughly, push George and kneel besides her.
"GEORGE WAKE UP!" I screech and he shoots up in his over-sized shirt and sees the situation.
"What happened? Wait, why's Luce crying?" He asks stupidly.
"I DON'T KNOW JUST HELP ME WITH HER!" I scream hysterically. Lucy is sobbing like a dying walrus and it is breaking me . I don't know what she is doing to me.
"J-just ta-ta-ke me! Just TAKE ME NOW! PLEASE!" She sobs, but I don't know what to do.
"George go call an ambulance!" I say, scared for Luce.
I've got over a million questions as to what the heck is happening, why, and how. Is she dreaming? That seems like the most reasonable thing, but nothing is reasonable anymore. I just want my Lucy back. No, our Lucy back. Not my.
~~~at~~~~the~~~~~hospital~~~~~~
I sit in the waiting room, waiting until the doctors come in. I am sitting next to George, tapping my foot to a song thats stuck in my head. A doctor comes in, with salt and pepper hair.
"Are you Mr. Lockwood?" A young doctor asks me.
"Yes. And, don't ask." I add as I gesture to myself.
"Your patient is ready for visitors. She will be able to co-"
"LUCY!" Me and George screech as we run down to the room that the doctor came out of.
We run in there, probably almost breaking the door down. We get hit by the typical hospital smell: disinfectant soap, wipes, and air freshener. Lucy is sitting up in bed, her eyes bloodshot as if she's been crying. We run over to her bed and hug her intestines out.
"Mkay, guys, whats this about and why am I in a hospital bed?" She scowls at us.
We were to busy hugging her and sniffing to answer. I think George started to explain, but I got the sudden urge to sleep. I passed out and hit the cold, marble floor with a hollow thud.
