Chapter 3: Emily's New Home

After Porter and Emily had traveled all the way to Seminole lane, they were dropped off at their stop. They then seen that there was a brown, brick house with green bushes surrounding it for sale. They had immediately wanted to buy it for whatever price it took.

They then called the number that was in the yard of the house, which said, "For sale! Call this number to buy it!"

The number was then answered by a man over the phone. He had replied, "Hello, this is Fred, from the home construction services. What would you like help with today?" Porter was the one who had answered, so he had said, "Hello, we are here on Seminole lane, hoping to buy this house here. What is the price for the house address #### Seminole lane?

Note from author: "Sorry guys, I can't share the address."

The man was astounded that someone had actually wanted to buy that house. It wasn't half bad, but it definitely had to ve upgraded. So he had replied, "If you want to buy that house, you'll have to make it upgraded. You see, it actually has some toilets that are way to old to use, and also it has some cannot that dosent have doors on them. So if you want that house, it will cist 10,000 bells extra, plus the original 10,000 in payment. So overall, it would cost 20,000 bells to buy the house, and have some of its parts upgraded."

Porter than told me the entire store, asking if it was a good idea or not to buy it.

"I know it's a lovely one, but are you sure about it still, Emily?" Asked Porter. I nodded in agreement. "It looks beautiful, and it seems like it would suit my needs, even if it has to be upgraded or not. So yes, of course I still want the house, Porter." I answered in response.

He sighed, and replied to the man on the phone, "Yes, we will take the house sir, and it's improvements. Thank you for your time."

The man said finally, "Okay. Some of our Happy Home Academy members will be over there shortly for the construction and for the payment. Thank you for ordering from the HHA!"

And then, both of them hung up their phones.

"So...What now?" I asked my husband.

"Well Emily, now...we wait."
