Chapter 7: Gaming Night

"Yes! Were going to the Arcade! Hopefully we can win some cool prizes, right guys?" I looked back at my friends Chadder and Diana, and they smiled at my excitement. Then I stared at Porter, hoping that he would give me a reaction as well. He simply said, "Of course, dear. Anything for you." And kissed me on the cheek. I blushed...and stared away in embarrassment. Then we had arrived at our destination, in me and Porter's white truck that we had owned. Dave and Buster's didn't have very many people tonight, considering it was 8:00PM, but there was some people here just like us to have fun. The Dave and Buster's sign shined in the night, giving off an incredible gleam. I was so excited to go inside, that once the car was parked, I immediately ran outside and then stopped in my tracks. I still had to wait for everyone else, so I made sure to let them catch up behind me, especially my lovely husband Porter. He ran up to me and said, "Calm down, Emily. With for the rest of us next time, alright?" I nodded, and smiled. It was great to know that Porter was aware of where I was at at all times. Chadder then interrupted and said, "Cmon', stop waiting around. Let's go inside and have some fun, you two!" So we agreed, and we went inside the double doors of Dave and Buster's. While we walled over over to the desk to get our cards to play the games, I looked around at all of them in awe. There were so many to play, so I couldn't wait to hopefully win an enormous amount of tickets. We then stopped at the desk, and a female lady gave us each a card with $20 on it in play money towards the games. I couldn't wait any longer, and I guess Porter couldn't either, so we both rushed towards the first game that we both in our minds for some reason, had wanted to play from the start. It was the game Monster drop extreme, where you have to drop one of the bouncy balls into one of the holes, specifically the Jackpot hole or the Monster drop jackpot hole in the middle. For the one in the middle you had to have a really high bounce and hope that it goes into the monster drop jackpot hole, which was fairly common. But for the regular jackpot, you usually had to drop it at the perfect timing, because it had a layering around the hole that wouldn't let the bouncy ball come in from the sides. So it was hard for some people, but for people like me who watch arcade masters on YouTube, like Matt3756 for instance, I know exactly where to time it at. You have to hit the button right when the Jackpot is near the yellow edge on the side of the machine, and 50% of the time the ball will go into the Jackpot slot. But sometimes it will bounce off of the side, and won't go in. But from my personal perspective, I think it's a 50/50 chance. Me and Porter then look at the machine and say at the same time..."I guess you were thinking the same thing, huh?" And smile once more. Porter than says, "After you, my dear. Go ahead, play first." So I walk up to the machine, slide my card once, and 3 plays are added to the machine. It was also $1.50 for each 3 plays towards the machine. I thought that that was a pretty reasonable price, so I had played. Then, once the Jackpot rolled around near the yellow edge, I pressed the button quickly, and...What a shocker! It went right into the Jackpot on my first try! The machine then yelled...Jackpot! Very loudly, and I squealed with happiness. "Look, Porter! I hit the Jackpot on my very first try! That's 500 tickets! Woo-hoo!" I jumped around in a circle, happiness and excitement at my side. Porter than replied...

Hi, readers! I know, it hasn't been a while since I've updated, but it's because of school! But don't worry, it's Spring Break now, so I'll try to update as much as possible now. Also, I know that this Chapter was supposed to be all about Chadder and Diana's perspective, but I had to give Porter and Me another chapter about us. Why, you ask? Can't you see? Our couple chapters are so cute! And yes, I know that Chadder and Diana's perspective's are too, but I just had the urge to write another chapter about me and Porter. But don't worry, Chadder and Diana will be back in the next one. Anyways, I hope everyone is enjoying there spring break! Bye, my lovely readers! ^_^
