As the crowd fell from the sky, they were dropping from such a height that all of them could feel the wind pressure against their bodies. There wasn't long before they were about to hit the ground. Being one of the confident ones based on their preparation, without fear of messing up Ethena quickly and accurately chanted a basic enhancement spell on her legs and landed onto the ground with a great thud. All around you could see others landing in all kinds of funny positions and seeing how so many just panicked for something of that level made Ethena wonder just what did those children do among the sixteen years of preparation. It was a sorry sight to see.
"What a bunch of dorks. Aren't they miss." A voice was coming from behind Ethena. As she turned around, a bunch of children who made it were staring at the ones falling.
"Let me introduce myself, the name's Atlas. These guys behind me are fellow members who survived the fall. Do you wana team up with us?"
"Pass."
"I see, you wana join as well- Wait what?"
"You heard me, I doubt I'd need you people. Go bother someone else."
"Oi, this girl, even though Atlas was asking nicely."
"Calm down, she's wary of us. I seem to recall a few people reacting similarly a few years ago." said Atlas while staring at his group.
"That was when I was young and naive."
"You are still young and naive Ben." Atlas snickered.
Ethena started to walk away from them, she didn't have a good feeling about Atlas and the group, it was something about Atlas that bugged her, even though she couldn't put her finger on it.
"Woah woah woah, don't you think it's a little rude to walk away without giving me an answer first?" Said Atlas.
"This woman is mocking us Atlas, I doubt she could even be of any help." The moment Ben finished his last word he found himself staring at the ceiling on the floor with no idea how'd he even gotten there."Ho, as expected of the daughter of Athena. Real mighty impressive."
"What does that person have to do with me. My achievements are my own, not like I even remember her face after being stuck in the institute for so long."
"You can't fight your blood line and alright, we'll leave. Seeing the poor Ben lying on the floor over there makes your answer clear. Be sure you don't come to regret this. "
As Atlas and his groupies left Ethena alone, Ethena felt something watching her. It didn't feel hostile. As Ethena was looking around, she turned her head and a finger poked her cheek. Shocked that someone managed to get near her without her knowledge made her stumble back a little.
"A-ha, did I surprise you a little too much? Haha sorry!" The voice said.
"More of Atlas lackeys?"
"Oh no, I just found myself watching you stand up against them. So cool, I'm already a fan. If you didn't want to go with them, how about me?"
"What about you? I don't need to group up for this. Everyone has an angle. I'm sure your no different from the rest."
"Cmon, don't say that. After all you never know what's going to happen and I happen to be pretty strong." Chuckled the young girl, with a blink of the eye, the young girl was already infront of her and stuck her hand near Ethena's neck. Ethena wasn't fazed by it and immediately went backwards, using her hand as support, shifted her leg to the young woman's neck.
"See, we'll get along great! So let me introduce myself, the name's Snow. Nice to meet ya."
All of a sudden, the ground beneath both of them began to shake, the trees around were bursting out with critters getting the heck away from the shacking. Something huge was coming. With a shriek blasting behind, it was clear whatever it was was coming. Without another word, Ethena made for the hills, leaving a very clueless snow behind while she had a head start. Snow realizing this , shouted at Ethena to wait however all she gotten in return was a annoyed stare, with a somehow readable face to keep quiet.
It wasn't much longer before "it" came catching up with them. Ethena and Snow did try their best to cover as much distance as they could but "it" was way too fast. A silver metallic body, huge sturdy legs that look like they could crush rocks into rubble along with a very long tail and eyes that looked like it wasn't something living. Ethena and Snow had never seen something like that before, due to their sheltered environment, they did not witness many organisms in the wild but in books. Plus It was hard recalling things when you were being chased. "It" was mowing down everything in it's way and it was only going faster and faster.
"THIS IS TOO SCARY! WHAT THE HECK IS THIS?" Snow screamed out.
It's shape was really familiar to Ethena. She could have sworn she read about this before. A creature made from the planet Earth in the mortal realm, it was called..... A Tyrannosaurs Rex, it looks exactly like what the book wrote, however why was it metallic? Should have been an organic organism.... What exactly was going on!? This just gave Ethena an awful feeling that something wasn't right.
